We visited here off season. Nice little beach on the bay with really nice playground area for children. Not sure what it's like during on season, but was empty and quiet during off season.

What a lovely beach! Considering many beaches nearby charge to enter the beach and/or charge to park this one is no less beautiful. As we were staying in Wickford village we walked and so there was no fee. Otherwise a pass is needed from the Town Hall to park. There are toilets available and some small food trucks. These probably change but when we were there there was a frozen lemonade and sausage vendor. As well as the beach there is a large grass area so lots of space and some picnic benches. There are steps leading down on to the beach so maybe not fully accessible to all.
This place is a hidden gem. The water is perfect and calm. The playground is amazing. And my kids love being able to spend the day here running back and forth between the two. Bring a cooler and chairs and plan to hang out for hours because they won’t get bored. So relaxing; can’t wait to go back.

This beach is one of a kind, you can enjoy the field, sand and really nice music on Wednesday during the summer. My family and I love spend our precious time here.
The place seemed very clean and quiet. Then again, I went during a lull. Could get busy during the warmer and hotter days. They have a playground for kids. And bathrooms are available during open hours.
Good place to visit in the daytime with small children. Whilst adults can swim and shower down at the shower stalls, or have a picnic lunch at the tables thoughtfully provided around the park front, children can play at the slides, swings and other playground equipment.
Not large, but compact and perfect for the small community in which it is set.
Avoid visiting this place after dusk- the mosquitoes can be very irritating and were ravenous on the mid September evening I visited
