A typical restaurant with pretty decent high calorie food items. I know because the calories are listed on the menu... I took full responsibility for my choices. The arugula salad with added salmon was pretty good. The dressing was tangy and refreshing. The fried calamari was ok, but the spicy tomato-based sauce was delicious. Our server Michael S. was outstanding. He did not rush us and his timing was great throughout our meal. I would definitely come back.
As a frequent explorer of Atlanta's vibrant dining scene, I'm always on the lookout for hidden gems. North Italian restaurant at Perimeter is one such delightful discovery. Despite having passed by it multiple times, my recent lunch visit with a friend unveiled its charm.
The menu is a testament to culinary excellence. The BRAISED SHORT RIB LUMACHE stood out with its rich flavors and tender texture, a dish that can only be described as 'amazingly delicious.' Equally impressive was the CRISPY EGGPLANT PARMESAN - a perfect blend of crunchiness and flavor. Sharing the MUSHROOM PASTA from my partner's plate, I found it equally tantalizing.
But what truly sets this restaurant apart is the service. Our server, a wonderful lady from Romania, provided an exemplary 5-star experience, adding a personal touch to our meal.
In summary, North Italian at Perimeter is a must-visit for those in Atlanta looking to explore new culinary delights. I'm already planning my next visit to try more of their exquisite offerings.
Cheers,
This is our first time visiting the place and it was really great. We came here for my friend’s birthday who’s very fond of Italian food. Our server was great and she provided great recommendations. We ordered non alcoholic cocktails they were really good. I would definitely recommend this place.
A truly great experience all-around. We had the calamari and chicken pesto which were delicious. But the star was the short rib lumache. That dish is a must-have. Our server, Grant, was really friendly and gave great service. Absolutely coming back!
This place should be the highlight of Dunwoody !! Their food is 1000/10 rating . It is classic Italian cuisine elevated at its peak . We started off with salads and the white truffle bread(so good it deserves a home by itself ) . We all ordered different dishes to try each other meals . And no one left hungry or disappointed . My favorite meal was the braised short rib . The beef was tender, well seasoned and the polenta it sits under was outstanding . This place is a calm relaxing vibe you can take friends , family , date night . There is plenty indoor and outdoor seating . It’s not a loud restaurant and it’s not too quiet where you feel you have to whisper . All our our bills range from $20-$60. That was no alcohol included at out table. Our server was very friendly and well versed about the menu . The hostess sat us immediately and greeted us as soon as we walked in . I loved everything about this restaurant . The menu has a variety of dishes , so you will be able to choose something .The kitchen has a glass wall so if you like to watch the chefs in action , then request a table by the kitchen . You get to see your hard working chefs throw down !! I recommend this place to anyone who loves good food and a good experience ..
We made reservations at the location near Perimeter for our daughter's birthday. They called me the morning of to confirm our reservations.
Arrival-
When we arrived, the lady who I assume was the manager, said they overbooked and had either the patio, (which although had heat lamps, it was still cool because they only had screened windows.), or we could sit at the bar at the high tops. I let her know we had a 4 year old with us as well. She said, "Well, I'm sure they'll be fine." She clearly seen the look on my face, so she offered us two free apps. I was still disappointed, but it was a Sunday night and we just needed to sit and start our dinner. So we sat at the bar area.
Service
Our server was Aaliyah,(sp?). She was very friendly, but not as attentive as I think she should have been. We had to flag her down a few times to order things, but again she was very friendly.
Food- All of the appetizers that we had were very good.
Grilled Garlic Truffle Bread (can't remember the actual name), was so good we ordered some to go.
Shrimp Scampi- Had little to no sauce
Grilled Bread- Was pretty good.
Calamari- VERY good
Meatballs- Were okay. Nothing to write home about
I ordered the bolognese. It wasn't bad, but I didn't care for it. I gave it to my husband who ordered steak. He said it was really good. There was so much food, can't name it all, but overall pretty good.
Drinks- I did not catch the bartenders name. This was Sunday, October 10th around 6p. He was AWESOME! The drinks were SO good! I am the type who likes to taste the alcohol in my drinks, but need the perfect balance and he did a great job!
One negative outside of the seating situation and the attentiveness from our server, I will say we did not like how they brought out our daughter's cake before they cleared the table. We had stacks of plates and empty cups while having to say Happy Birthday suddenly.
Other than that, it was a good time and we'll come back, but probably just for appetizers and drinks
First off the food presentation is wonderful and eating it was even better. The salmon avocado toast was great. Seasoning was not over done. The coffee banana cake was SO GOOD!
I didn’t have much expectation coming here since it’s a chain restaurant, but what a great food and cozy place. Their short rib dish is delicious, the polenta was well seasoned and creamy! The butter cake with pistachio gelato was also amazing. Our waiter was very attentive and had such a GREAT energy! Thanks so much, Joe, you made the experience even better!

We recently got married at the Northwoods Pavilion. We had a small wedding ceremony of about 30 people and a reception with just under 100. Abigail was our event coordinator. She was wonderful to work with and very responsive and informative througho
Nice coffee shop with ample seating including tables, couches and a patio outside. Large selection of bakery items and sandwiches. Coffee is tasty. The staff is friendly and give good recommendations. My almond croissant was delicious!!!
First time but won't be the last! Those waffles at the salad bar are amazing. I wasn't eating meat this time around, but the salmon with chimmichuri sauce was delicious. Lost a star on service because they completely forgot to put our order in and th
Food was delicious. I had to order to go because I was working but everything was superb. The bison burger is by far the best bison burger I have ever had. It was juicy but well done (the way I like my burgers). The fries were crispy but still soft i
