North Hampton State Beach - State park in North Hampton - 27 Ocean Blvd, USA

Coming to NH from South Florida, I wasn't sure what to expect of New England beaches... This is my spot. It's a small park with limited, albeit ample, parking and public facilities that are well-kept. The beach is behind a seawall, going from rocky to sandy the further you go towards the sea. It's not a big beach, and depending on the time and tide, there might not be much beach at all. And that's when you sit on the wide granite seawall... dangle your feet over... and enjoy the quiet charm of this state park.

Very pretty and unpolluted. There were lifeguards. Some individuals may have issues accessing this spot, the stone steps are uneven, deep and a bit broken, there was no ramp that I could see. Parking is paid and I suspect parking is difficult to obtain on busy days. Restrooms were good but the outdoor shower only worked for feet and had no "sand management" in place.

Clean and sandy beach, great for a walk, sitting in the sun or wading wit the kids. Easy parking at the top of the paved lot, restrooms and beach shower tower available.

Great place to start your morning 🌄 to watch the sunrise....worth the drive:)

Great place for watching the sunrise. You get an absolutely perfect front row view. I recommend coming about an hour before the official sunrise so you can catch the whole process in action. It's absolutely gorgeous and well worth getting up early to get there!

I've visited since I was a kid. Parking 🅿️ is limited and you have to pay at the meter. You can pay with coins, except pennies, cash and card. Go early. High tide was in but people were setting up, going in the water 🌊, surfing and having a good time. I relaxed 😎 and enjoyed my 📰 newspaper. A clean up crew was keeping the beach ⛱️ tidy. Thanks 👍! I only saw 🦆 ducks and crows, no seagulls. Bring bug 🐛 repellent. Small gnat like flying insects were swarming around the seaweed. Restroom 🚻 available. I recommend a visit. Update; Sunday morning 🌄, June 2021; Make sure you display your parking 🅿️ slip upwards and remove all expired slips from your dashboard or you could get a ticket. Someone was actually purchasing a new receipt 🧾 and they got a ticket. I saw a seagull at this beach ⛱️, finally.

Stopped by Hampton beach, off season is just as beautiful and calming as when it's warm.
