I love a park with good water views and this is definitely a good one! The playground has lots of different and fun equipment so lots of kids can play at once. There is a nice walking path too. Plus beautiful water everywhere around you!!
Conventionally located along the water in downtown Northeast. Typically stays a few degrees cooler due to the breeze coming off of the water. There is always a good view and typically plenty of ducks. Playground has an assortment of slides, climbing obstacles, and plenty of space to run around. Three pavilions that are able to rented out for parties, a non-motorized boat launch, tons of fishing spots, and lots of benches located throughout the park and along its walking paths. Park is usually kept pretty clean, but we tens to avoid the bathrooms.
Enjoying fishing and letting the kids play on the playground equipment. Great area to picnic and look out over the water. Lots of people bring their dogs and walk the trail that circles the perimeter. There's bathrooms that are clean for the most part. The bathroom sinks could use some updating, however.
A beautiful park by the water. Peaceful, clean, pavillion for groups or family events. Indoor restrooms. 5 minutes from downtown North East, Maryland.
Beautiful park. Very open, places for canoes and kayaks. Boats are always on the water especially when it is warm. Amazing playground for kids big and little. Everyone is very kind, I love bringing my children here. Its always a day well spent.
Beautiful little park, great for family, kids , walks , fishing, playing, grilling, boating and even flying your Drone , so that's what I did lol here are some amazing aerial pics and video of the park , lake , a little bit of town and even the naughty goose .
It's still a nice park, even though the playground is falling apart and is in a sad state. I used to love taking my kids there when they were little.
This park is a great place to take your friends and families and spend the day. There are quite a few shades and picnic tables which are booked on a first come first serve basis. So sometimes if the day is super fun, you won't find a shade. But if you bring picnic mats and packed meals you are good to go. BBQ setup is also available. I am not sure about the water activity as I didn't try.
From Turkey Point Lighthouse, Rogue Harbor, all the way to the North Bay area this scenic stretch of land has it all. Hike the white tail, pick paw paws in the Beaver Marsh, forage for maitake, hunt, fish, or just relax by the dock on the bay. Alway
Wow! Great little beach with white sand and smooth surface in the water. They have a snack shack, bathrooms, showers, and dressing rooms. Plenty of picnic tables. Plenty of room for many people. Cost is $5 a person for the entire day.
Turkey Point Lighthouse offers a captivating blend of history and nature. The short but scenic hike to reach the lighthouse is worth every step, surrounded by lush landscapes and stunning bay views. Although I didn't enter inside, the exterior and su
What a great little coffee shop! Great coffee, friendly service, and crazy fun and tasty donuts! What more can you ask for from a small town surprise stop? Definitely a required stop! Thanks for the tasty treats my kids loved the donuts!
Actually ended up having a great time and this was a very last minute quick google search. We needed to be close to the Delaware east stop. BE WARNED: They only accept cash! People who owned the spot and worked there are friendly. We had a beautiful
It was difficult to find the trail that led to the waterfalls, but I eventually found it! See photos. There were painted pink rocks that helped guide me to the falls. I was the only one there. It was relaxing. A little difficult of a trek because of
Some of the best pho Iâve ever had. I had the âHue styled beef noodle soupâ which was delicious, huge portion too. Also had the shrimp and pork summer rolls, maybe the best summer rolls Iâve ever had, as well as the peanut sauce. Glad I was a
I come here at least once a year. I live about 2 hours away and itâs closer than going to NJ or OCMD. I like it because itâs sand and water and usually not super crowded. Having said that, the sand isnât the same ocean sand at the beaches. Itâ
SO much fun. We felt like family! We stopped in for a late lunch with family members after a funeral and needed not only good food but a bit of fun. Our server was playful, sweet and we loved her. We got a variety of food...breakfast for myself and m
