North Creek Lodge at Gore Mountain - Hotel in North Creek - 2999 NY-8, USA

De loin le pire endroit ou nous avons séjourné. La chambre était sale, les lits à moitié démonté, le plancher sale. Les voisins qui écoute la télé très forte jusqu'à très tard et recommence à 4:45 le matin. Le petit déjeuner pas mangeable. Je ne recommande pas cet endroit.

Overpriced for what it is, a very basic, older hotel, with few amenities, and that's fine but it's too expensive for that. There is an on-site restaurant, not too appealing because it smelled like stale cigarette smoke. They give you a very skimpy continental breakfast; they could do much better considering there's a restaurant right there. The management, at least the man, (but not the woman), was very friendly and accommodating. The room surface areas and bathroom were clean but there were two dead bugs on the floor at bedside and under the table so they could do a little more thorough room floor cleaning (no carpets). Sheets were extremely thin, and the small pillows smelled sweaty; very unappealing. One problem here, we believe, may be that they do not have enough good help. The single bathroom soap is tiny, not enough for the whole evening and morning. They have an outside garbage can near the rooms that looked like it hasn't been dumped in a couple of days (completely full) and there were a lot of flies around it that can (and did) come in your room if you open the door too long. Fridge in room; micro can be brought to your room upon request.

Stayed there for the weekend and had a lovely experience. The hosts are so friendly and attentive. Very clean rooms and really good food. It was perfect for a short weekend while dropping my kid off to camp. Close to everything in the Lake George area.

Rustic, with slightly modern amenities - but in a good way. Friendly staff. Rooms could use better pillows, but do have plenty of ways to keep cool or warm. Smart TV, Wi-Fi and restaurant on site. Complimentary breakfast isn't too bad with the basics.

We were in the area for the solar eclipse. Check in was flawless and graciously handled by Melissa our host. She gave us the number to call if anything was needed and the dining room was not open. Room was clean and prepared for guests. Hot showers, spotless bathroom. WiFi. coffee maker in room. Dinner was available in the dining room and for take out. Bar was friendly and overall atmosphere was cheerful, and fun. Breakfast was available bur we did not partake. Overall I would book again. BTW the 2 star rating is for the level of amenity, not quality of service. This was a good value and good quality.

Places was tremendous. I took a ski club group from my School and they treated us like first class. The students had a great time. The Manager Melissa was Awesome is the best way to describe her. Our kids had a great time. The food was awesome and the rooms were very comfy.

The room was well appointed and was recently renovated for a modern feel. The location within proximity to Gore is an added bonus. The mountain is only about 5 minutes up the road. The bar and restaurant area were really nice. The food is good as well.

North Creek Lodge was the perfect place for me and my mutt :) for a recent ski patrol training weekend. Melissa and Jerry and their staff were so accommodating and the location was perfect to get to Gore. I will be back for sure. The rooms were clean and the restaurant and bar were well run and perfect. Best part besides all of that ~ no #meangirlsonskisallowed <3
