Definitely quieter during off season. Went for a walk on the bike path and decided to stop by. We’ve been lucky having this unseasonably warm fall weather. 🍁
We enjoyed our time here! Such a clean beach for being close to the city! Went for a quick swim and sun bathed. Very relaxing, there is tons of grass areas should you want to picnic! There is a bar right on the beach, and kayak and paddle rental. It can be a fun place to spend the day!
It was super fun, the bar/ bistro was amazing too. It was beautiful.
North Beach is conveniently located off Burlington Bike, has restrooms and parking on site. - don’t recommend parking by the old high school as you will get towed. - I like the Beach House where you can grab food and drinks. Downside -crowded during summer time.
Great place. If you go off season. Beach bar is near by in season. Very relaxing to sit and read and relax. Went here on Labor Day weekend and couldn't find a place to sit, but after that weekend it was great. Awesome place to get a huge creemee. Paid parking of $3 hour if you drive, tough when it is busy to find a place, but is walkable on the bike/ walking trail. No life guard after labor day. Restrooms may be closed after season, porta potty still available. Can't speak for what it is like during summer. Dogs are not supposed to be at this beach, but several people brought them anyway and had them in the water. Picnic area available and camping available nearby.
A wonderful, clean beach with some food/ice cream options and an outdoor bar.
Great beach to swim. Has bathroom facilities. Parking fee required.
This is certainly a destination when you come to Burlington. You can pay a non resident fee of $8 if you drive or you can rent a bike and enter for free. There is a kayak and paddle board company that sets up in the northern part of the park. The park offers trailer style camping as well. The concession staff needs some more help and a better system to work with; they are hard working but could use some more help- many customers seemed agitated on a busy Saturday. The beach is life guarded which is a plus...the rules are a bit more lax than we are used to at our local beach. There is a playground and some barbecues available for use as well. Enjoy your stay if you choose to go. If my review was helpful please consider selecting the “like” button below. Thanks.
Super cool sunset view point. The sight of the sun going into the water is superb. It is so colorful and the reflections of the changing colors in the water and the cloud are eye catching. Must visit place to relax and just be yourself. You could jus
First time going here and I should have gone sooner. It was pretty windy, luckily the sun was out. Perfect for walking, relaxing, soaking up the sun (when its out), biking and there is a kayak/canoe launch as part of the Lake Champlain Paddlerâs Tr
