North Bay Inn Miami - Hotel in North Bay Village - 1819 79th Street Causeway, USA

OK - let's deal with the elephant in the living room 1st - this location was a Best Western for years. The current ownership - for whatever reason - decided to go independent. This is not the fault/decision of any one working at the Inn or Shuckers. Please do not ask for BW privileges - they just no longer exist at this location. ||Now - my recent visit was for 2 nights. Upon checking in, there was 1 customer ahead of me so I got to hear the new details. When it was my turn a young lady named Christy was so delightful. After explaining that I've lived in the area for years and recently moved, she explained the changes and what was happening at the hotel. I could see painters onsite. My checkin was quick and Christy was awesome. *Be sure to take your car info in for checkin - verify the license tag info (taking a phone pic is the easiest way)||As some have noted, this is an older hotel but it has been maintained well. I had 2 double beds, the room was clean and smelled great. I had dinner that night at Shuckers and Holly was awesome.||My visit was short and I had to leave around 0200am a couple of days later. Again, Christy was at the desk, remembered my name and everything went smoothly.||Normally, I would say this stay ranked a 4 but Christy was so sweet and helpful that it deserved a 5. People make all the difference and she added a lot to my short stay.||Many THANKS to all the folks at the North Bay Inn and especially Christy. My favorite things about this hotel are its location (on the bay and near my son's former primary school where I walked him as a child, so it has a lot of memories) and Shucker's, my favorite restaurant for a great sandwich, fries and the like. The staff are excellent, remember me from when I lived in the area and from each subsequent visit since I have moved, and always have a friendly greeting. They're efficient, quick and always helpful. And last but not least, they have a great pool and a fantastic view. Don't let the iguanas freak you out, though. Hahaha!

Y a t'il quelqu'un de vivant dans cet hôtel ? J'ai fait une réservation et je souhaite les contacter. J'ai envoyé 4 mails tous restés sans réponse. J'ai envoyé un mail également à l'adresse inscrite sur leur site et j'ai eu un retour comme quoi le nom de domaine de l'adresse n'existe pas. |Bien évidement, c'était un best western vieillissant mais là du coup, je pense annuler ma réservation car cela me fait très peur de ne pas avoir de réponse à mes interrogations.

Clean and beautiful hotel. Very well located, a few minutes away from Miami Beach and in one of the main bus routes of the city. The staff was friendly, courteous and professional. We had an amazing experience overall and special thanks to Grethel Cortes for making our complimentary breakfast experience a special one.

Wouldn’t suggest the Shuckles restaurant there. Seemed dirty and food wasn’t too good. Rooms seemed clean but atmosphere is 1970s. ||||Employees were friendly but could have been dressed nicer and/or had uniforms of some type. Location is right on the water so view is nice.

Positive: The Location of the hotel is the best, which next to a marina and the views are good. Negative: the staff was very rude didn't give much information before hand. also their respond is not good at all for simple questions like public restroom in the lobby Negative: ""

Grethel cortes was super friendly and kind. Very hard working lady. She helped us with breakfast. And gave us recommendations for places to visit during our stay at Miami. Her customer service was excellent, making us feel very welcomed, almost like family!

The a/c is very loud, the toilets weren‘t working several times and the hotel was quite dirty. The room itself was clean and the staff super nice. Breakfast was okay but not at time. This was annoying when you have plans for the day and you have to wait for the breakfast. Staff at the reception was nice but some them|Weren‘t prepared well.
