I have been to this festival 25 years and consider it the best weekend of my year. Superb selection of great Blues performers.
Top performers. Great location at the marina in downtown Rockland, ME. All you want in a blues festival.
The music and atmosphere are awesome. You could not find a better festival in maine
Annual event with great performers and a place for new comers to hone their act. Selection for food vendors seems to have diminished over the past few years. Merchant vendors are pretty consistent year to year. It can get hot and there is minimal shade. There is one spigot for free running water to drink in order to stay cool and hydrated, their used to be 2 but it appears to be broken.
Great talent, pretty good production, GREAT place for it.
I just wish it had more on the bill.
Maybe some Texas Blues? Zydeco? There are quite a few artists that I know of that would put this festival on a whole new plain of existence.
Just a thought
Too much fun! Must go to see and hear! Blues artists and fans are the best! Paul does a fabulous job.

Incredible selection of fresh seafood. We got a 3.5lb lobster and it was one of the sweetest and tender I've ever had.
Also got 3 of their 4 oyster options, they were also delicious, just wish they sold mignonette!
Came here after seeing the restaurant on No Reservations. It was the ideal restaurant for our honeymoon. Drove up from Portland, Me and it was well worth it. Entrees, appetizers and desserts were fantastic. The Pork Chop was the best Pork Chop I've e
Hazel's Take-Out is a must visit! My family and I stopped by on our way up the coast. I had their Lobster Melt, the rest got the fried clams and Hazel's Haddock Reuben. The Lobster Melt is delicious, stuffed with lobster, and not too strong on the ma

Delicious surprise, most restaurant in Maine taste amazing but Sammyâs Deluxe had really unique flavor. Mushroom is asta and halibut dish with dandelion were out of expectation but so delicious. Smoke haddock and alewife is also recommended.
Iâm so impressed with this place! The chef made magic happen for every dish she produced in that small kitchen. I absolutely loved the quality and composition of the recipes. All the protein was sourced locally and even the whipping cream was whipp
