I have enjoyed this restaurant and their lefsa for over 10 years. I drive from La Crescent (almost 40 miles) 2to4 times a year. The day after Christmas I called to confirm they had fresh lefsa and would be open until 2pm. I was told yes so I jumped in the car about 12:45 and drove there. Arrived at 1:35. They were closed. Another time they closed early, but I hadn't called before I went, so I gave them the benefit. I will drive to Blair, WI from now on.

A shout out to Norsland Lefse & Bakery for your extra efforts to deliver lutefisk to southern Arizona! Our package arrived this afternoon via FedEx, perfectly frozen. Christmas isn’t Christmas without a good Scandinavian lutefisk, Swedish meatball, and lefse dinner! We appreciate you!

Don't let the lefse throw you off if you're not Norwegian and have no idea what it is - this place is great! I'm not even Norwegian, and normally I'm not the biggest lefse fan (only ever had it with sugar before, not my thing). But when it's used in place as a tortilla, sign me up! We had the Breakfast Uffda wrap with hollandaise sauce for breakfast and were glad we asked the waitress whether it was big enough to split. It was huge, definitely enough for both my mother and me to feel like we weren't sharing a meal; it would have been way too much for one person if we'd each gotten one. The coffee was great, and then there was the case of goodies up front to choose from. The scones were particularly good for an on-the-road snack later in the day. Forgot to take a picture of the breakfast, as we devoured it. And the price? $8.95 for two people? Unheard of in these crazy times!!! We loaded up on goodies to bring home and it was still only $18 without the tip.

It's surprisingly good! Potato cheddar soup was good and hot. The lefse with lingonerry jam was good, too. Most restaurants in Southern Minnesota are sadly closed, so to find one open that wasn't greasy bar food was a welcome site!

I guess I was spoiled by gramma's lefse when I was kid, but their lefse was a disappointment. Way too thin with an undercooked texture. Also tasted mostly like flour and not potato.

First and foremost of course is the fact that they have the best lefse ever, of course not quite as good as my Norwegian grandmother's but the best otherwise. The food and ambience was quite good. Great gift shop as well.

Quaint no-frills place, which is perfect. Sea of white people oggling us when we walked in, but nothing less than expected. We ordered cold ham and turkey wraps. They were simple but tasty. Chipotle mayo and slivers of red onion give it a little kick. There's also a small gift shop on site where you can get Norwegian or Uff Da gifts. I got a couple jars of dandelion and corn cob jams, which I've never seen before. The dandelion one unfortunately needs to be tossed immediately. Just took it out of my bag and the lid popped like the Trouble game dice popper. Bummer because it was $7 for 9 oz.

Amazing Lefse! If you're in the area you MUST check this place out. You can watch the ladies making lefse fresh in person! Then you can head over to the Cafe and fill up on delicious soup and freshly made lefse with your choice of fixings. Very reasonably priced and equally delicious.
