My husband and I stayed Saturday - Monday and it was wonderful! We were celebrating our anniversary and stayed in the Sundowner building with a full view of the ocean. It was spectacular! |The room was clean and comfortable with plenty of fresh linens available. The staff was kind and courteous at all times. We loved every minute of our stay!
Our stay was EXCELLENT! The room was so large and so clean, 2 king beds, 2 sinks separate from area from shower and toilet. The location is absolutely PERFECT, on beach! We were fortunate to have great weather while we were there and were able to walk to Marginal Way and Downtown shops and restaurants. Love being able to just walk down to the beach and we did so several times. We loved Splash on site for breakfast and the live music. Since this was a birthday getaway we were able to relax and were extremely comfortable doing so. Thank you so much for everything!!! we look forward to our next visit.|Claire & Geoff
Dunes Room 112 October 23, 24, 25.|I love the Norseman and have been going for 16 years. The remodel of the rooms and bathrooms is wonderful. The new vinyl outside looks great- the color and the shingle style|Suggestion: TV in the room : please note on it that you have to turn to Channel 99 to see the guide. The remote does not function for the guide. The front desk was helpful with that. Also, the TV in the bathroom is great but channels are different- these should be listed /noted somewhere.|The first year you stayed open for the winter you had a $99 per night special. Would love to see that offered as a special for New Year's 2024!|Access to the beach from the Dunes Rooms is wonderful. It would be helpful if a rail could be put on one side for going down and then back up.
We’ve always wanted to stay here, since friends and family have raved about for years. Everything met or exceeded our expectations. ||Example: Our room was so very clean and perfect; even double sinks were part of our great experience. We happened to meet our hard-working cleaning lady, and she was so welcoming and gracious, we left her a very large tip for our two night stay. All staff were terrific. ||And of course the piece de resistance was the glorious full ocean view from our top floor deck, and the very clean and exciting beach (high tide yielded surfer waves then) just steps from the resort. Walking was very comfortable on the hard-packed sand part of the beach, which is 3 miles long. ||This place is just two minutes from a fantastic Lobsta restaurant, and a delightful 5 minute further walk put us in a very fun and classy shopping area. ||Soooo tough to leave the Norseman. We’ll be back next season.
The resort was beautiful, and the location is perfect for beach access and food options (minus the Splash restaurant). The store is a part of the resort, and prices are outrageous. Customer service lacks big time in that store. They are on their phones having conversations and not paying attention to the customers. The customer service of the resort was okay. There were no recommendations for new people in the area. The rooms were like the pictures, the bed wasn't very comfortable. The view from the 3rd floor was beautiful, of course, facing the beach & ocean. Free parking in their lot-they'll give you a parking permit. They have wifi. You'll spend a pretty penny for a vacation here. 3rd floor also, be aware of seagull pooping on your stuff, and/or you. As well as random crab legs/Shells scattered on the floor. 😂
The Norseman is a nice clean place to stay. HOWEVER, they let someone else check in under my name. |They did not check her ID or credit card before they gave her MY room keys that I paid for. |This person was allegedly a friend that had booked her own room for Saturday night, but decided to show up Friday to surprise me. Not cool. |Saturday morning came, along with the storm- so we were flooded in and could not leave until the tide was receding. |I checked out a day early since I did not feel safe staying there. |Safer check in policies need to be in place. |A waste of $500.00 for one sleepless night stay.
We've stayed here many, many times. Perfect oceanfront location on a spectacular beach. Rooms are fine and we love the walk in showers upgrade in ours. There's an attached restaurant ( Splash ) for breakfast and lunch. Don't miss the blueberry pancakes!!
My husband & I went to the Norseman to celebrate out 50th wedding anniversary. We haven’t been able to travel in several years as he’s ill. We have never spent so much for a motel room before, especially off season but it was for our anniversary & I had to have something with an elevator – or first floor – because of all his medical equipment I’d have to carry to the room myself. Plus I wanted something right on the beach so if he got tired I could just bring him back to the room. Was the room worth the price we spent? I really can’t answer that since I have nothing to compare it to for that price. It was a really nice room with a lot of extras but even though we could see the ocean from our balcony it actually overlooked the parking lot so not a great view. The room looked spic & span but after I took a shower & walked across the room the bottom of my feet were all sandy & we hadn’t been to the beach yet so it wasn’t from us. Otherwise the room was clean. There were no water cups or coffee cups in the room though & we had to ask for them at the front desk. The shower was really amazing though – we’ve never been in a shower that big. And the shampoo, conditioner & lotion were all from bath & body works, nice! The room had a massage chair which was really nice & a fireplace. It took me awhile to figure out how to use the fireplace but then I couldn’t shut it off. Even when it was off you could still see flames. The bed was king size & comfy. There was a table & chairs on the balcony which was nice, even with the crummy view, to sit out there. There were lots of ceiling lights & lots of wall switches but I never could figure out which wall switch went to which light so I’d have to walk around the room turning on & off switches to get the right one. Maybe if they were labeled it would be helpful. There was no table on the left side of the bed – the side I sleep on, so no place to put your cell phone or your glasses or your drink. There also was no wall light switch next to the bed, so if you had to get up during the night there was no light to turn on to help you see. You’d have to stumble around until you found a light switch to use. I think a small table with even a small lamp on it would be helpful. The room also had a small refrigerator, microwave & keurig coffee pot.
You cannot go wrong by staying at the Meadowmere! So many amenities to offer guests and is located on the trolley stop that goes into town and to the beach. Outdoor pool , year round indoor pool, separate year round large outdoor jacuzzi and a separa
