Last Sunday I called ahead and made sure the bakery had guava flavored King Cakes in stock. I made the much anticipated round trip from Hammond. My cake was there and the cashier bragged about how good it would be. When we finally cut the cake to savor this much anticipated flavor, WHAT A DiSAPPOINTMENT. No GUAVA.

For true, authentic Cuban sandwiches, I highly recommend Norma's! I also got a chicken empanada and tres leche cake. All of the items were outstanding and the customer service was great! The grocery carries a wide variety of Hispanic products that are difficult to find elsewhere. I highly recommend!!

I come in here every few weeks to grab a few items. I came the other day and was getting a few things including tortillas. The tortillas were 2.50, and the cashier came to tell me something, and I dont speak that much Spanish, but pretty much she said they had hot tortillas. The other cashier pointed to an ice chest by the register and I got them. I thought they would be the same price, but they were $7.00! I couldn't really say anything because I don't speak enough Spanish. But they rang them up as produce. So for 2 avocados, 1 bunch of green onions, a few peppers, and the tortillas, I paid like $15... so be careful here
