When were leaving we had a terrible experience with the management. They shouted at us for not leaving on time even though we returned the keys promptly. We are an older couple and I have sciatica and it's difficult for me to bend and lift packages so it took us a bit longer to load up and get out of the room. They were not sympathetic and shouted at us and literally asked us to get out. It ruined our entire trip and left us shaken and disturbed. I would not recommend anyone going through such a nasty experience.
This is my go to place whenever I go to the Loon mountain. The room fits 3 families, spacious, clean and super convenient. It is 3 mins driving to the mountain, or downtown. The facility is also nice clean, game room and ping pong table. Highly recommend.
Stayed here via VRBO reservation in #319 for a summer weekend trip. The overall vibe is a bit towards vintage 80's mostly in terms of age. The pool areas are nice. The basement has foosball, air hockey, and corn hole, and exercise rooms. The room and resort have been maintained, but you can still see the wear and tear of the years. Walking down the hallways is a bit noisy due to the wood construction. This unit was well stocked for an easy stay with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Like the rest of the place relatively clean and maintained, but still a bit of wear. So not exactly luxury, but functional and a pleasant stay. I wouldn't recommend the place for those with any mobility challenges as there are stairs all over. You can't enter the front of the building without a few stairs. One ramp in the rear, but it is a bit steep.
Friendly staff, great service, rooms were clean and well kept, no funny smells, clean sheets and pillows, Quiet place to sleep very peaceful, convenient gym/cardio, great indoor hot tub, cool gaming room. Definitely coming back in the future for sure.
One of the best locations you could ask for, friendly attentive staff, fun amenities for a rainy day or after a long day out, and even with it's size, still can boast a traditional quaint New Hampshire charm about it. I will stay here every time I visit the White Mountains!
Rented unit 333 which was a 3 bedroom condo unit which had 3 king beds and 3 twin size beds. There was plenty of room for our 3 families. Love the full kitchen which was fully stocked with all cooking essentials including spices. Beds were very comfortable and plenty of room for extra blowup beds if needed. View of mountain was very nice too. Really enjoyed the pool, hot tub, sauna and game area as well. Have been to this resort a few times and would def stay in the future. Employees were all very nice and helpful too. Also liked the discounted ski passes they offer for sale at the front desk.
The hotel had everything we needed, except saunas, but that's not their fault. The condo we rented was perfectly fine for our stay. The hot tub, pool, and air hockey were added bonuses. Great location, super easy to get to. Our son is already planning our next visit
This was the second time we have stayed here in the last year. Front desk staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about what there is to do in the area if you need any suggestions. Rooms are very clear and is definitely great having a full kitchen that you can either cook in or bring left overs from dinner back to and not waste both your money and the good food from the area. It is very close to both the downtown area and to Loon. Shuttle buses run all day to Loon for skiing which was great.
This is a stunning lake that has multiple trails associated with this area. The weather can be unpredictable, so wear the appropriate footwear and pack warm clothes!
Alpine Adventures is definitely a MUST DO when visiting the White Mountain area. The zip lines are thrilling and offer the chance to do something out of the ordinary and bring some excitement to your life. It's not quite as daring as skydiving (which
