Nordic Inn and Suites - Motel in Portland - 11942 NE Sandy Blvd, USA

The room was nice. We had a room furthest from the street so it was nice and quiet. The parking spot we chose was next to a landscaped area and the sprinkler went on during the night and totally drenched our dune buggy. Thankfully we had covered it with a tarp or the entire interior would have been soaked. Also, they charge a $100 security deposit when you check in which isn’t refunded until after housekeeping checks the room after you leave.

This motel exceeded all our expectations. Most of all, this was the cleanest hotel room we've ever stayed in. Our room had two queens in separate rooms. Great price, would definitely come back to the Nordic Inn. The staff was friendly and the location was convenient.

To be perfectly honest, I rented this room by mistake (didn’t pay attention to the address). I’ve always known this part of Portland to be….a little scary. And being a solo female, I try to find relatively safe places to stay, lol. Anyway, when I pulled into the parking lot, I was very pleasantly surprised at how clean and tidy and even cute this place is, and it’s been nothing but wonderful ever since. The girls at the front desk are great. The room is very nice. The decor is fresh & modern. I went to work today and came back to fresh towels, a freshly made bed with my own quilt on top, neatly folded, replenished coffee supplies. I can’t say enough good things about this place. In fact, I even extended my stay here because it’s been such a delightful experience. So if you’re hesitant to stay here because of the location, I encourage you to give this place a shot! I couldn’t be more impressed.

Very nice room. Seemed newly remodeled. Super quick and easy check in. Cold AC. Table and chairs so when you bring back food from the trucks across the street you’ve got a place to eat. Inexpensive.

Well, I don’t mean to sound like a stuck up snob, but I usually stay in expensive hotels and Airbnbs. This place… This place! There’s nothing to complain about! Our room was clean, quiet and they serviced it every day! What more could you ask for? It was not the prettiest location honestly, but we didn’t mind. I’m so tired of paying the Airbnb and VRBO service fees. I’ll definitely be looking for more places like this in the future. Check in was easy and friendly. Parking doesn’t get any easier!And be sure to check out Baristas in Bikinis directly across the street. I’m not kidding… They made the best caramel macchiato I’ve ever had!

Cute little rooms. Helpful and lovely hosts. Great price too. The best actually. The rooms were very clean and it was close to the highway. I'll definitely stay again and would highly recommend!

Check-in was courteous and convenient. Rooms are good, though (as expected) not luxurious. Having a kitchen is nice, but need to bring your own dishes and utensils.

Update, last visit did not impress. Knocked down a star on overall and service. Clerk was having issues with the door lock to my room. Suggested I not leave my room due to lock issues. I do not feel that was an appropriate solution. After requesting a reprogram of my card for the 3rd time, no further problems with my lock. Very clean and well maintained. Respectful hotel for the area. Great prices for the space. I've stayed here 5 times or so and will come back.
