The hotel is beautiful. There was live music in the different bars and the rooms were simple but spacious and clean. The made the experience though. Big ups to Kevin and to the woman at the desk who’s name I didn’t catch. They were both especially helpful and kind. I definitely recommend this trip if you’re traveling for business- it’s quieter and offers enough space to work in room or in the lobby.

First of all. Normally when you book a hotel stay you are immediately sent a confirmation via email. Not the Nopsi apparently. I had to call 6 different times to get the confirmation (for my own peace of mind) and was told each time they would send it. Now let's get to the stay. The property is beautiful but It has a funny smell. My boyfriend and I stayed in a junior suite and the room smelled mildly mild-ewy. Not sure if its because of the humidity but it did put a damper on the stay for me. Wasn't a huge deal for me to complain about but definitely enough for me to take notes. The pool area is absolutely beautiful and the DJ they have is GREAT. But Chile when I tell you that pool was FILTHY!! The water was damn near brown. Our last night we caught a couple screwing in that filthy water and I just knew a yeast infection was in her immediate future. Absolutely gross. Pool should be cleaned DAILY. Lastly and worst of all. The mandatory $300 deposit STILL HAS NOT BEEN RETURNED TO ME. My bank stated that the Nopsi has initiated the refund but has not actually released the funds. I have called several times to rectify this which prompted this review. I was told to call and speak to someone named Jada in accounting. I have left the woman 3 VOICEMAILS!!!!!!!! still no return call. I am so annoyed. Overall, we both agreed that we would never stay here again.

Our stay at NOPSI was nothing short of amazing! Every person we came in contact with in the hotel was very hospitable, helpful, friendly, and offered amazing customers service. Starting with Richard, his genuine personality and willingness to help. Mrs. Whinette (security lady) was super sweet and kept us laughing with her beautiful smile and interest in what we had planned for each day. Josh was an absolute gentlemen and turned us on to bothers fried chicken! Very sweet soft spoken and willing to lend a helping hand! All of the staff was very attentive, respectful, and welcoming from the time we arrived to our departure. If you’re thinking about booking a stay at NOPSI do it! I promise you won’t regret it!

We were staying here after a cruise and thoroughly enjoyed the hotel. The rooms were so clean and the staff helped us store our luggage for the day while we took a steamboat cruise. It rained but we had a relaxing visit to the rooftop bar in the evening. Paul the bartender dried a table and gave us towels to sit on and made nice drinks for us all. Go see Paul. He makes good drinks and is attentive to us all

No major complaints we just weren’t overly impressed. Lobby is absolutely beautiful however the rooms felt average. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. My biggest complaint is I booked 3rd party and booked a standard king suite with a city view however did not get what I received. When I spoke with the girl at the front desk I was informed that “city view” is subject to availability and we were currently in the best available room. I also felt the standard suite wasn’t really an upgrade from the standard room we had the first night. Also, while booking I saw parking as an amenity however they failed to mention they only offer valet and it’s $75 per night… we ended up staying in the parking garage behind the hotel for $67 for the whole 5 days we were there. We extended our trip and stayed elsewhere for our last night and were much more impressed. We’ll likely stay somewhere else when we return.

Such a nice pool, came for a day and the bartender, Asia, was so welcoming and warm. Would definitely come again! The people that worked there are super nice and genuine, my experience could not have been better. It was very tranquil and the seating was very comfortable.

After sending two emails without any response, I feel I have no other choice but to make this public to get an answer. ||||We were charged twice for our breakfasts on both days of our stay, leading to an overcharge of more than $110 on our bill. The charges are inconsistent, and I suspect they may have added other rooms' bills to ours. We definitely did not have two breakfasts each day and we had lunches and dinners outside of the hotel.||||I didn’t catch this mistake when checking out because the bill was so confusing, with multiple charges. On top of the room rate, they added $25 per day for destination fees (what is that?), plus taxes, service,and valet parking—even though I specifically booked hotels with free parking on Booking.com, and NOPSI was on that list. I didn’t notice the extra meal charges plus taxes until later that day of check-out.||||Additionally, I booked with my professional card but checked out using my personal card. Despite this, an extra $150 was debited from my professional card before our arrival, and it still hasn't been reimbursed, even though they assured me it would be returned immediately after check-out. A total of more than 260 USD surcharge on the bill so far !||||To make matters worse, they don’t clean the rooms daily under the guise of "greenwashing," and there’s no coffee or tea in the rooms, which is standard in every other hotel I’ve stayed at during my extensive travels.||||On the positive side, the staff is friendly, and the rooms are spacious. We experienced three different rooms during our stay—the first had a severe leak and a damp, smelly carpet; the second had a broken AC; but the third one was okay. The staff handled these issues promptly and efficiently in 30 minutes when we arrived. This just shows the dilapidation of the premises.||||I hope to receive a refund soon; otherwise, I will be forced to file a complaint.

Had two larger rooms and both were nice and well set up. Service is done on every 2 days, which for a 4.5/5 star hotel not the best, especially as first hotel I stayed at that didn’t do every day service! Staff were very accommodating and hotel was in business district so close to Bourbon Street but far enough away not to have the noise and smell on the doorstep
