I can't say I know how the rest of the menu tastes, but their signature noodle bowl is really fantastic! It was way more filling than I expected, since it has small cubes of pork, potato, eggplant, tofu, and a couple of other things, in addition to the noodles themselves. Flavor is great with just the right about of spicy. Definitely recommend you give it a try
First time trying this place. I’ll give the pork burger 3/5 because the bun was a little dry, the shedding pork was pretty oily but tasty. The cold noodles with chili oil was okay. But the spicy braised beef noodles was so good, not too spicy and had a level of numbness. I’ll come again if I’m around this area!
I’d give it a 3.8 rating if I could. The place wasn’t bad or anything. The prices are really good and cheap and it’s an easy in and out stop for a quick noodle lunch. Their speciality is in noodles, and the dishes are slightly spicy! We got the Chinese style hamburger with lamb meet and noodles. The vibe and ambience is very family and cozy vibes. Parking is easy and There are people outside the restauarant soliciting sometimes but overall a decent lunch place!
I'm a Chinese immigrant to the United States for two years. It's the first time I've had such delicious Chinese food. It's the first time I've tasted authentic China overseas in two years! The meticulous care and considerate service of the waitress, Miss Beauty, makes me feel very warm and warm, and dining in this restaurant is very homely! Very very good!
Update: tried hand cut / biang biang noodles elsewhere - including popular influencer spots - and Noodle Art is still my fav!! I love trying the dry noodle options while my husband adores their noodle soups. Still need to try their massive plate of braised chicken noodle which looks amazing!!

Was in the mood for really good noodles so husband and I ventured over from West LA one Sunday and it was 100% worth the drive! The hand cut noodles were so deliciously chewy and the Qishan noodles had a fragrant hot and sour broth. The staff is super friendly, too!
Noodle Art in Monterey Park offers a captivating culinary experience straight from Xi'an, China. This new restaurant, specializing in biangbiang noodles and regional delicacies, is a testament to the passion and skill of its chef/owner, Xibao Wen. With over three decades of experience in his province of Shaanxi, Wen brings a wealth of expertise to his first venture in the U.S.
Located in a strip mall, Noodle Art replaced a defunct Sichuan restaurant, and although it is not exclusively a Chinese Halal or Hui cuisine establishment, it draws influence from the Muslim Quarter of Xi'an. This influence is evident in some of their standout dishes, such as the Chinese cumin lamb hamburger, yangruo paomo (flatbread soaked in lamb soup), and succulent lamb kebabs. These offerings pay homage to the strong culinary and cultural impact of Northwestern China's Muslim population.
What sets Noodle Art apart is Chef Wen's belief that food is an art form, akin to the works of great impressionist painters like Van Gogh. His commitment to quality ingredients and the love of cooking shines through each dish. Quoting a passage from the book A Feast of Floyd, Wen describes himself as a "noodle artist," emphasizing the combination of culinary skill, passion, and the joy of sharing a meal with loved ones.
The menu at Noodle Art showcases the artistry and rich flavors derived from the merging of diverse influences along the historic Silk Road. The tantalizing aroma of the lamb and mutton dishes reveals the fusion of Middle Eastern and Chinese flavors, resulting in a truly unique dining experience.
The service was excellent when we visited the restaurant. The girls there were very friendly and prompt with their service.
Whether you are seeking the bold flavors of biangbiang noodles or exploring the enticing dishes inspired by the Muslim Quarter, Noodle Art offers a culinary journey that transports you to the vibrant streets of Xi'an. So, step inside this delightful restaurant and savor the artistry of Chef Wen's creations, where each bite is a testament to his passion for culinary excellence.
The family enjoyed the order which was predicated to one of those YouTuber food travelers. Michael ? You gotta see pics. The fresh noodles were tasty and handmade quality is evident. Seasoned with turmeric and cumin etc..Just yummy overall. Loved the cold noodles on this warm summer day. Lamb soup with pita bread was seasoned just right. But not too enticing. There were a lot of missing items I would have liked to try, but they were red inked out as in the pics. A hole in the wall of some sort , but yet again, If you like fresh noodles , this place is alright if you’re in the area. As always post where ever your palate takes you.
For a Szechuan place, there are great options with no chili sauce. I had gone with two friends who don't really eat spicy and they were able to find food to suit their palate. I got noodles with spicy sauce and the flavor was slightly tart and savory. My favorite was the stir-fried cabbage. $10 for a plate, amazing flavor and crunch. They're known for their noodle soups with lamb and beef but I don't eat lamb so I passed on that. The have mung bean in the drink fridge and I really appreciated it wasn't too sweet.

Everything about this restaurant (in THIS specific location, I haven't tried any of their other locations) is special and cooked uniquely. This is truly authentic Chinese food, so don't come expecting the 19 oz of sugar per family-style portion of fo

Had their lunch special. Overall very good. Monkey brain was huge, the spicy tuna roll was really good. The Michelada was the weakest thing I had there.
