Loved sitting by the window to the outdoor patio overlooking the mountains.... saw some beautiful winter birds! Haven't been here in years. Very attentive staff, thank you Heather! The best part? My homemade Reese's peanut butter canoli! Oh my, that was delicious! Very clean, nice Italian ambiance. The view will definitely have me coming back.
Overall, this is a good place! I have only come twice. Once for drinks and once for dinner! I absolutely loved our salad wedge and the prices! The vodka pizza was definitely not my favorite but I don’t wanna judge a place off of one item. The service was phenomenal and there wasn’t a wait at all! Give it a try
The pizza is cheap and very good. The place looks very nice and very clean. The staff is very attentive. I loved this place.
Nonno's Pizza and Family Restaurant in Moosic is located near the Cinemark Montage Mountain and behind the WilkesBarre/Scranton Railriders' PNC Field. We arrived at approximately 6 p.m. on a Sunday after watching a movie. The restaurant -- which has indoor and outdoor seating -- had plenty of tables available, and we were seated at a booth immediately. Our server was pleasant and professional, bringing our food in a timely manner. We ordered the Turkey Club and BLT Sandwich. The former included turkey, provolone cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and mayo. The meal was average. Although the bread was toasted, it was soft from the very beginning, and the amount of turkey was lacking. The BLT consisted of Bacon, lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise, and was very good, with plenty of bacon. A side of French fries accompanied both dishes, but were overcooked. Perhaps Nonno's were understaffed for an early Sunday evening, but the restaurant was a little dirty. Upon our arrival, there was a nearby table occupied with dirty plates, which sat there for approximately 15 minutes more before someone came to clean it; however the dirty floor underneath remained so when we left. There were also crumbs of food between my booth cushion and the backboard. Nonno's was an underwhelming dining experience. Perhaps I'll return to try the pizza, but considering I'm rarely in Moosic -- and the fact that there are numerous outstanding pizza options in Northeastern Pennsylvania -- it will be a long while.
Heather, our server was very attentive and friendly. We sat outside on their beautiful patio overlooking the valley. We had the Italian trio, garlic cheese bread, and a margherita pizza. I would definitely order their pizza, it was wonderful. I also tried the cannoli and salted carmel crunch cake, both were delicious.
They have an outdoor patio, which is beautiful. It is up on a hill overlooking a baseball stadium. The patio is co vered with a tree that has viney branches. I believe it flowers in the summer. My son and I think the food is very good. Good portions.
A great place up on a hill with a beautiful view! The food was very delicious and portions were large. I ordered the autumn pizza. 👌
A great place for Italian Cuisine. They have a very friendly and helpful staff. Relaxing, kid friendly atmosphere. We are big fans of Margherita Pizza from here. My teenage sons recommend the fried food sampler platter, which you can choose your options for😉 It's a good stop before or after a movie or baseball game or shopping, which are all offered in the surrounding area.
I decided to give it a try since I passed it often. Swung in for a hot hoagie meatball parm, to be exact , and it was delicious. My son loved their chicken fingers. They are friendly and the wait is not long. Now I'm curious about the rest of the me
Stopped to charge the car at the supercharger and decided to get some dinner and let the car charge the whole way. It worked perfectly. Normally we would stop for 15 min and continue the trip but we decided to get some dinner while the car charged to
