the ideal is book a table for this restaurant. We were there a little before 7 p.m. and there was already a 30 min wait to be inside so we went to eat on the terrace which is heated. the service was a little long but the dishes were delicious! the pasta dishes were very generous. Little extra for the beignets, I was delighted to see them on the menu! The staff were really friendly

My fiance took me here for my birthday. I absolutely loved the gumbo, the atmosphere, and the service. They gave us a lovely secluded nook which allowed us to have a very intimate dinner. Try everything but be prepared for very generous portions. Come ready to eat. Everything is delicious but it takes no time at all to get full.

For starters, the ambience is awesome. Cozy, dark, lots of visual interest in the decor. Next, a Vieux Carre is my favorite cocktail...but it's nigh-impossible to find a place who has the ingredients let alone a bartender who knows the drink. This place has it on the regular menu - and it was perfect! Second, Creole food is amazing...but not vegetarian friendly. I went to NOLA at a time when I could eat anything and it was phenomenal. Now, I'm vegetarian by medical necessity, and the fact that they included ratatouille on the menu is an AWESOME choice that supports folks like me and still fits the theme. It seemed a little heavy handed on the pepper *seeds* for heat rather than ground/dried red spices proper...seeds bring the heat but not the same *flavor* as red spices, but it's a nitpick. The vegetables were perfectly cooked, tender and flavorful while still firm to the bite. The cheese grits were nice and fluffy, i.e., perfect (far too many places serve dense or runny grits). Capping it all off was the bread pudding. Home run! Hot crossed buns (minus the frosting) meets moist french toast...an incredible dessert! Hope for a chance to come back sometime!

Tonight was our first night here and we had the etouffe, creole pasta, ratatouille and voodoo chicken. Our family of 4 shared and by far the voodoo chicken was the winner hands down. All of the food was delicious, but the voodoo chicken was amazing. Will definitely eat here again. Also our waiter Eric was awesome. He was very knowledgeable and did a great job.

We found ourselves to Nola's for lunch. I had the ribs as I'm allergic to shellfish. My wife had the Voodoo chicken. From what I heard, the Voodoo chicken was amazing. Full flavor and a 5/5 My ribs were meh. Good flavor, the meat was dry and even a bit crunchy in places. We really liked the decor and the atmosphere is really fun. I think if I had the ribbs for dinner they would have been better.

I was really excited to try this place after I read the reviews, but I was extremely underwhelmed after I got my food. I ordered the catfish with okra and dressing and a side of gumbo. The catfish was slightly undercooked and the dressing and gumbo both had jello-like textures. Everything was flavorless and definitely not worth the price. The only tolerable part of the order was the okra because of the sauce it came with.

This is the best restaurant in Oklahoma. Beautiful place, wonderful service and really delicious food. Went with the whole family and everyone loved it. Looking for Cajun food? This is a great joint.
