Nola Star Bar - Bar in New Orleans - 212 Loyola Ave, USA

BEWARE! Got my phone stolen at this bar. The girl that I met who ended up taking it had insisted on coming here all night, so finally we did. Instead of helping (they clearly knew the girl) they started trash talking, told me to get out and threatened to call the police. And by "they," I am talking about both the bartender and owner. I told them I would appreciate that, and they realized it would not be in their best interest and chose to just ignore my presence. So I was left to wander the streets of New Orleans in the middle of the night for 2 hours until I finally made it back to my hotel. I don't know if they were complicit or just protecting their friend, but since technically I can't prove they did anything illegal I can't press charges. At least I found out who their friend is. All I can do to them is leave this warning for others.

Absolute dump. Place is run-down. Bartender was trashed/high and wanted nothing to do with us. No music unless you pay ~$1 a song a a juke box that doesn't work for half of the songs you search for. Drinks EXTREMELY overpriced. Avoid this place at all costs.

Krewe is a good, no-frills dive bar on Loyola. They have pool and a juke box. Somewhat heavy pours as well. It’s a good spot to hang out for an hour or two on any given night. The staff are very friendly as well.

If we miss the night bus heading home after a night out, We always get a drink here and hang out waiting for the next one. Sometimes it's chill, sometimes it's a party. Sometimes there's good food out front. Sometimes we have such a good time that we forget about catching the bus.

Stopped in to shoot a game of pool and have a drink. Very diverse crowed young and old.

Wednesday Karoke night so much fun wow! I’ve never done it before but this place just makes you feel so welcome the staff is amazing and the drinks were pretty strong and reasonably priced!

The wings that the dudes cook outside are great and the atmosphere is fun. It's located right next to the hotel we were staying in so convenient for a late snack after clubbing. We laughed and enjoyed the karaoke.

Overpriced and the male older bartender is creepy and rude. There was only one other customer in when we got there and the place looked dead. We got terrible service, the bartender acted like we’re bothering him but were staying to finish our drinks. Few minutes later more people came in and started ordering and having fun and all of the sudden the bartender got mad and kicked everyone out. Me and my husband were sitting in a corner away from the rest and weren’t sure what was going on so the bartender very rudely waved to us saying the bar is closed, get out… Do yourself a favor and go get your drinks elsewhere
