The outside is a bit dusty and the hotel hasn’t been updated, but the room was spotless and quiet, and the bed was comfortable. Owner is pleasant and told me a joke about aging an hour when I crossed the time zone. A bargain at $60.
Absolutely love Scott! The rooms are always clean, and the staff is always nice. Pets are welcome here, too. It's a good spot to rest and very reasonable prices.
Pros: cost was $60/night. Dogs welcomed and even has a fenced in dog area. Clean towels and clean sheets. Hot water. Air conditioning. Big TV with lots of cable channels. The room itself is quiet. Cons: a musty/old cigarette smell hits you when you walk in the room. (Thankfully the window could open to air it out and turning the air conditioner on helped even more). One of the mattresses has a slope to it. The hotel is not far from the railroad tracks and even with the fan/air conditioner running the train whistle woke me up at 5am. The toilet seat is not secured very well and slides across the toilet as you are sitting on it. A no frills place to lay your head.
The housekeeper attitude sucks she always yells because the room is left dirty well clean it that is what you get paid to do I have stayed there three times
Clean comfortable affordable. Nice deep bathtub for a good hot soak. Hot water was amazing!
