I was at this store yesterday and I was looking at the clothes and merchandise on the lower level with my friend. Me and my friend had seen a sweatshirt that we were thinking about buying. So I was going to put the sweatshirt on over mine to see if it would fit and it did. It was even oversized so my friend and I were laughing about that. During this the owner of the business came up behind us being very rude and unprofessional and said to us if you want to go play at a playground then go there. Proceeded to ask us if we were even old enough to be in the store and asked us how old we were and if we could handle being in the store. Talking down to us and being extremely aggressive. We said yes that we would be able to handle being in the store and stopped after that and were just looking around at the rest of the products and appreciating all of the interesting antiques. We then got to this one point and we’re just looking at stuff and I sat on this old bench because I was curious if it was comfortable and was thinking about sending it to my dad because he likes antique furniture. After sitting on it for around 30 seconds and doing nothing wrong, The owner of the business came down the stairs again and said that this isn’t a place to just hang out and then told us to leave continuing to raise her voice to us and talking down to us when we had done nothing wrong. Up until that point she was on the cameras the whole time just watching us waiting to find a reason to yell at us. So, I said to her that we didn’t do anything wrong and she had said to not have an attitude with her. I then said she was the one with an attitude, being extremely rude when all we were doing was looking at the products. My friend then apologized and said that we didn’t mean any trouble and that we could leave. He had also asked if we could still buy a bracelet. With extreme attitude she responded back saying yes if you really wanted to. I then said to him no that we shouldn’t buy it, because I don’t want to support a business who treats people this way. Then as we were walking up the stairs she walked behind me saying that she was just so hurt that we weren’t going to be buying her products over and over in a sarcastic and mocking tone. At the top of the stairs by the exit my friend then asked if we could put the bracelet back or if she wanted to do it then she said that she would do it. Then said to him that he was very respectful and nice and then said that I was a little witch. And told us to not come back. I understand the sweatshirt situation, but it could have been handled in a much more professional manner instead of talking down to us. If we were grown adults she would have not talked to us that way. However, after that situation we were very respectful towards the products and others in the store minding our volume and behavior. She simply just didn’t like us being in the store and had prejudice against us even despite us choosing to be more mindful of others. I would not recommend going here with the lack of professionalism and disrespect towards me and my friend. I am truly disappointed because this was a place that I have enjoyed going to and supporting for a while. DEFINITELY do NOT let your kids go here with there being a risk they could be harassed like this.

Love stopping in when nearby to see what's new. Always find a few items but watch the prices. Everyone is friendly & helpful. Clean & neat shop with 3 floors to go through.

Lovely store with loads of vintage and antique items, many items I remember my parents or grandparents owning which sent me down 'memory lane'. Staff was very accommodating by helping take my items to the front when my hands were full, as well as being easily accessible to open a jewelry case to look at a ring, which is uncommon on weekends in other stores I've been to.

Truly disappointed and saddened by the lack of respect that an employee showed toward my sister. Her and her friend were simply browsing the store (as customers do), and a woman who works there, immediately became defensive and absolutely disrespectful for absolutely no reason. They sat on a bench and looked at a sweatshirt and were kicked out because they looked like kids horsing around. I understand kicking people out if they were roughhousing or damaging materials/being disrespectful toward the store or merchandise, but they were looking at items and showing the upmost respect to the store and its belongings. We really love this store so it’s a shame that someone can make us feel so unwelcome so quickly.

Absolutely horrific customer service. My niece went in yesterday and was treated with so much disrespect. It was disgusting to hear that a young woman was treated so poorly by a grown woman. This was very disappointing to hear and I hope you work on your attitude with customers I cannot imagine what others think of this store.
