No.1 Chinese Restaurant - Chinese restaurant in Indian Harbour Beach - 991-K E Eau Gallie Blvd, USA

After reading the reviews which were a determining factor for me to visit this establishment. My husband ordered shrimp fried rice as he always does when we have Chinese cuisine he says you can never go wrong. Not me I tried the pepper steak (hopefully I can upload pic). First, it was bland in flavor it appeard the used an entire large onion and bell pepper because the beef was practically none existing. Lastly, this was a carryout order we were not offered plates or plastic utensils. Did they even consider that some of the patrons maybe in town at a hotel less than a mile away. I would not recommend this establishment.

The food was nasty. Something not tasting right about the rice; had not choice but to drown it in soy sauce. Majority of my sweet and sour chicken was old; they refried it. Ended up having to toss half because there was no chicken left under the overfried batter. Then i ended up hugging the toilet bowl as it all came back up not too long after. First and LAST time eating at Number One "Zero," Chinese, for me!!!

Very good take-out with exceptional portion and great taste. My goto seems to always be General Tso, and this place didn't disappoint. I'm also a fan of dumplings and was pleased to see this place offer them.

Any Chinese place that passes off yellow rice as fried rice is an automatic fail in my book. My wife took one bite of her bourbon chicken and threw it out. Mine wasn't much better.

DO NOT EAT HERE ! They dig in Win Dixies dumpsters for there food ! TERRIBLE !

I would like to start with that the Food arrived on time via Uber eats* I called upon received food because the orange chicken was soggy beyond normal. When I call I speak with Mandy and explain to her the situation and that I am willing to physically pick up a replacement order. She immediately tells me to contact Uber over 4 times I respond can I just bring the the full plate and you make another one and she said no. When she mentioned Uber eats for the 5th time I said I would like to speak to a manager and she hung up the phone. Today I walk in explain what happened and with the same tone was asked if I contacted Uber I showed them past 24 hours they can not do anything. Mind you I still have the full plate of orange chicken with me and still walked out china 1 with them having there manager/owner Ken giving me a call.....06/15/2022 update since this is small town I just found out that there is no owner/manager named Ken....he does not exist...this is so embarrassing on so many levels. The two men that were in the back cooking along side the cashier when i was inside the restaurant trying to get my order replaced are the OWNERS. Warning do not expect any customer service when the owners themselves lie that there not the owners plus the food is terrible much better options nearby belive me look around. Bye bye KEN*

I personally LOVE their food. The closest to NY Chinese food I’ve ever had in FL. I was born & raised in NY, so I get it. It seems to be fresher & tastier on Fridays. I’ve had the occasional rancid egg roll in mid week. I just don’t order weekdays anymore.
