Incredible School. Been training here for 10+ years and have loved every minute of it. Coach Jay Hayes in world class with a wealth of knowledge. The team is super helpful and supportive. If you are new to Jiu Jitsu or a seasoned veteran, this school is for you.

What a change in my 6 year old son in just a few short weeks! Coach Mike and his team have built his confidence and discipline and also brought him out of his shell! I recommend the little ninjas class to any parent looking for something different besides sports to sign their child up for!

Excellent instructors, both morning and Sunday classes, haven't had a chance yet to go to afternoon weekday classes yet but they have the same instructor as the Sunday classes so I have confidence they'll be great! Edit: been to a few evening and mixed level classes, great classmates to roll with and awesome instructors. I feel like I have a better starting foundational knowledge than when I went to other BJJ gyms in the North Jersey area. Definitely gonna stick with this one, highly recommended.

This is one of the best martial arts school I’ve attended in NJ. This is my 3rd week and I have nothing but positives to mention. Jay (owner) coaches bjj himself. Unlike other schools, he monitors you when you’re working and practicing moves. He corrects and explains you if you’re making mistakes. I’ve seen him spending extra time with the students on the mat after class if they have questions. Most importantly, he treats you well and is very welcoming. The overall environment is great! The students are very helpful. Highly recommended!!

When I first started looking for mma gyms, one that all my buddies kept telling me about was NJ united. After finally deciding to pull the trigger I signed up and started my journey in the arts. When I started at the gym I was 220 lbs and only after 4 months I now weigh 175 lbs. This gym is absolutely amazing and has some of the greatest instructors who are always willing to go the extra mile to make their students better. I Highly recommend this gym for beginners or people who may be nervous to get into the sport. Great gym overall 5/5

I signed up my 9 year old daughter this past summer for Muay Thai kickboxing and she has been attending ever since. The coaches and her fellow peers are very welcoming and supportive. My daughter can be shy at times, especially at school, however when she is at NJ United mma she doesn't hold anything back. She's no Bruce Lee but from my experience her kicks and punch combinations are coming together quite nicely especially when I'm her human punching bag for practice 😉 at home, but all seriousness, NJ United mma is a great facility for confidence building and learning crucial defensive techniques that is good to know in life. I recommend talking to the staff and really get to know about this gem in Northern New Jersey.

I have been training at NJ United for over 3 years and honestly it is the best decision I have ever made in terms of fitness. They are absolutely the best gym with great coaches that care about you as much as your training. The culture is more like a family, where every student wants to help each other grow (and that is direct reflection of the trainers attitude and commitment). Definitely will continue training here!!!

I started training here a few months ago and I cant say enough good things about it. Ive trained in martial arts most of my life but nothing compares to the quality of NJ United. Jay is a great guy and an awesome instructor. He'll take as much time as you need to answer a question or help with a technique. Maggie and Danny are also excellent instructors and are super nice. Everyone here is so friendly and helpful, that its a pleasure to workout here every day. I knew from the first class that i came to the right place. Thank you to everyone at Nj United for making me a part of this family. Anyone that is thinking about training should absolutely come to NJ United. You're going to love it!
