Niwas Inn - Hotel in Fife - 5601 Pacific Hwy E, USA

This was the worst stay at a hotel / motel my wife and I have experienced! We arrived and before even checking in they required a $60 CASH deposit, regardless of how you booked or paying with card. After finding our non-smoking room we entered to the most musty, cigarette like smelling room. The bedsheets and blankets had rips, tears, and cigarette burn holes in them throughout the set as well. The wall outlets were loose and didn't hold power if you gently tapped the cords the lamps / charging devices would go off. Looks like new flooring was installed quite recently however it's not even stuck to the floor! Looks like it was attempted to be glued down but all panels are loose / lifted. Bathroom door did not close entirely and the toilet was loose as well. To top things off, at 3am in the morning the unit above us had a fire / flood causing smoke alarms to go off, firetrucks with sirens to arrive, and Fireman loudly yelling and knocking on hotel doors escorting people out of their rooms! I truly cannot believe our stay!

Just off I-5 makes it easy to get to/get back to travels the next day. No EV charging (not expected but would have been a nice perk), rooms are dated and damaged but bed was clean/comfortable enough and AC worked well. Definitely not worth $200/night, but would be a solid $125+taxes sort of stay.

I don’t recommend this motel. It is very old, outdated. I chose it based on being a 3 star category which was the best I could find at last minute reservation, price was more than double of what they normally charge. Their rates run from $90-110 based on a 2 star rating but I was charged $236 per night. Their shower did not work and when we finally got the knob to pull out, it was steaming hot water. We could not take a bath. We reported it right away but employee said there was nothing she could do as it was late. I requested a partial refund and I was told a few days later that owner said no.

They are Wong for this. got the nerve to charge $50 deposit. I should be charging them a deposit for staying here my health and safety might be at risk my standards are high but even the lowest of the low standards would be comfortable here. I think they need to come out of the 80s

Would rate a 0 if possible. Called the lady at the front desk and asked if she had free breakfast, laundry, and a gym because that is what google and Expedia has listed. She responded with: "Would you like to stay at a Holiday Inn? This is a regular hotel." I was obviously bewildered with this statement. I then asked why they have those amenities listed if they do not offer them, and she responded with: "We do not control our own website. You should stay at a Holiday Inn." I do not know how this place makes a profit with a receptionist that defers her clients. Overall, the receptionist is awfully rude and has very little patience with the customers. Not welcoming. However, I did not get any of my questions answered, so I do not know if they have any of the things listed on their website. I guess you will have to go in person and hope the receptionist doesn't verbally abuse you face to face like a scoundrel. Forget about calling, it's not worth the time and will probably create even more questions.

Hello, everyone. I just want to let you know that in this Inn - " Niwas Inn on 5601 Pacific HWY E, Five, WA 98424" I reserved NON SMOKING room but when I got in there the room was smelling bad, like cigarettes, there were dirty blankets and holes from cigarettes. It was not a pleasure to be in that room. I asked if I can switch rooms, the other room was also stinky, which was not good for your health. So I had to leave this place and find another hotel. I asked for my refund but the Manager didn't want to give me my money and she said "I'm working here for many years and I don't believe you." (On that evening she wasn't there). And she hung up on me two times. I was trying to reach her and waiting for all this to end almost about a month, so now I have to let everyone know this Inn is not clean, the Manager is not polite and doesn't believe what people say, so there was no way for me to get my money back, even though she supposed to understand all situation and return me my money for not staying in there because of their fault. So don't ever reserve this Inn, it's not worth it and the Manager is horribly disciplined. I even have proof that it was dirty and holes on the blankets.

It is one of the worst hotel experience for me. Initially they gave us a room where smoking was allowed (booked online, so not sure why i got that), then staff was soooo reluctant to change. It smelled so bad, it was soo dirty. luckily with night shift a kind lady started and let us switch to a non-smoking room (only when someone was willing to switch with us, as they are smoker). Smell was gone, but cleanliness was as bad as before. All their sheets had multiple hole in them. We didn't use the shower because how bad everything looked and felt. breakfast was okay, average. Location of the hotel is good. But can't stress this enough, it was a very poorly managed hotel. And it's not cheap. Save some money and stay somewhere else.

Positive: The lady at the counter was nice Negative: Star level was misrepresented. Listed as a 3 and "maybe" qualified as 1. Room had a thick smell, maybe incense or old smoke. Walkways were not clean, people were lingering outside.I did not stay, even though I had prepaid online thinking it was a 3-star.
