We absolutely love our stay here at the lodge, it was a refreshing get away from the hustle and bustle of the stress and everyday life. The new manager there Ashley was so more than accommodating to our family. Really a grade A type of gal thank you for going above and beyond to make sure our stay was extra delightful. We will defiantly be returning next chance we get.
We had 8 family members traveling the PNW together and booked 3 rooms here for our stay over the July 4th holiday. We weren't quite sure what to expect, but had a wonderful time. The staff were so kind and welcoming! The rooms were spacious, clean, and quiet. The beds were by far the most comfortable of our trip (this was one of 3 accommodations during our trip). ||No longer having breakfast on-site was disappointing, but thankfully we realized before we came so we stopped at a grocery store on our way in from Seattle. The fridge in the room allowed us to keep cold items chilled until needed. We also brought in items to picnic while enjoying Mt Rainier. ||At the front desk, they had menus for several local restaurants and a list of what days/hours they were open. This was especially helpful for planning our dinner on July 4th. We ended up getting pizza takeout nearby and using the large picnic table outside the Lodge. ||All in all, we had a wonderful stay and I would recommend the Nisqually Lodge to families wanting to be near and enjoy Mt Rainer.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It is very charming and quaint. It is quiet and relaxing. My partner and I stayed here for a couple's getaway and it was perfect for that. The only issue we had was a light outside our room window kept flickering on and off throughout the night. We would definitely stay here again!
Good option if you're headed to Rainier! The rooms are nice and big, heat up well in the winter, the lobby has a cozy cabin feel and a fire going and the staff is really helpful. Coffee and hot drink options.
We stayed three nights at Nisqually Lodge and greatly enjoyed our stay. It was convenient to visit the Paradise entrance of Mt Rainier National park. The front desk had menus/times for the various restaurants in the area. It was helpful as many start closing in September and haven't yet updated their hours on their web sites. We had an upstairs room and did not hear any noise from the road or other guests. Appreciated the hot coffee all day in the lobby. Felt we paid a good price given the room location to the NP and time of year. Try September vs July/August, fewer crowds and better prices and the weather is still nice.
Great and friendly service, internet, big TV and overall a very cozy place to stay when spending time at Mt Rainier. It was walking distance from the Ukrainian Cuisine restaurant next door, which was nice, too. It wasn’t perfect as there were very minor issues with some fixtures in the rooms, but it honestly had no effect on our stay there at all, so I certainly recommend it.
Makayla was extremely friendly and helpful made us feel very welcome! The lodge was cozy with a beautiful view of the forest. ||The walls are very thin and you can hear everything especially the water pipes. The bed was not comfy, all three of us tossed and turned all night.
This is a very nice hotel/lodge 5 miles from the entrance of Mt. Rainier. The staff was very nice and helpful, there is no breakfast but there is coffe and beverages in the lobby. After seeing some of the other hotels in the area we were very glad we chose this hotel.
The magnificence of Mount Rainier is beyond words. This is a brief, 1-mile hike starting from Paradise. The trail is stroller-friendly up to the wooden bridge. It's an excellent choice for beginners of all ages to enjoy a relatively easy and awe-insp
This bridge comes in the mount Rainer national park on the way to Paradise from Nisqually entrance. There is a small parking lot before and after that the bridge. The water falls into 2 levels. Just across the road on the bridge the first level and j
Beautiful trail with plenty to look at. Waterfalls, mountains, animals, this trail has it all. I only went half way which was about 4 miles. The trail starts to get a little rocky at mile 2. There is a stream that you have to cross that makes it very
I love my stay at Mountain Meadows Inn and wish I could have stayed longer! It is such a cozy, clean little B&B and the perfect place to relax after a long day in the mountains. There were plenty of blankets, pillows, towels and other amenities. I ap
