04/20/24 I was recommended to this hotel. Due to being “budget friendly”, let’s start off with that. They lie when you call before you even get there. They never mentioned the add on charges out of no where. also I asked how much for two nights and they went up their price instead of 85 for each night. Anyways it is not worth 100 bucks for the night, due to having the room very damaged, bed covers and sheets ripped, hole in the walls, broken mirror, some sort of mole in the bathroom ceiling, no microwave, to much rusty metal from the clothing hanger and in the bathroom. It had to much flaws for the price of what they charge. They need to remodel their rooms and furniture. I’ve had better experience and paid less than what they charged for.
Sad to say I won’t be coming back here again. I felt lied to from the beginning, I drove there thinking I was paying a good price until all these unnecessary charges were given to me and I couldn’t do anything since I already made the drive and felt like they wasted my time and I could’ve looked somewhere else instead of getting there. Overall, please be aware of this place. 0/10 experience and not coming again even if I’m in the area. Thanks for being liars and be more honest with your customers!
Positive: Maybe just price, but not a lot to like except proximity to my location Negative: Cigarettes smell, dirty carpet, old furnishings and beddings, did not feel like effort was made to get new beddings, felt like really old, disgusting bathroom site with old shower head and water closet and bath. Needs remodeling Negative: ""
I liked this place! It was very quaint! Room was clean, great shower pressure, and bed was comfy. Would stay again.
The room was huge but old and slightly dirty. The elevator smelt like spicy mustard, which made me want to barf.
This place is eerie, like something out of a horror movie. Very old furnitures, graffiti on the walls, a very slow moving elevator, and blood stains on the ceiling.
I left in a hurry after I found out a murder took place here back in 2015.
The place does indeed have roaches, our stay was for 4 days, honestly if you book this place knowing that it isn't a 5 star hotel, the expectations shouldn't be high.
It's cheap and it's a place to stay.
To combat the roaches, we put the AC on the lowest setting every day, all day, constantly, roaches hate the cold. We also had a homemade spray of vinegar and mint. We sprayed this around our beds, restroom, door, etc. During our 4 days of stay we saw maybe 5 roaches? 3 of them were because we hadn't yet put the AC on cold. Another was in the restroom because the door wasn't open, meaning it wasn't cold in the restroom.
Honestly, if you're alone, or with someone else that doesn't over react due to a little bug this place is fine. It's cheap and that's exactly what you get.
The microwave in the lobby had roaches on it so plan ahead.
Also the area is super sketchy at night, I do not recommend going out if you are a woman, we saw two homeless druggies swinging sticks, just stay inside.
This hotel was a little gem. Yes it’s older with older furniture and some of it worn, but everything worked and it was clean. We stayed 4 nights and it was very quite despite being off a busy street. There is an internal courtyard that was beautiful. The room was cleaned and replenished everyday and the staff were all very polite.
I chose this place because it was close to where I needed to be for work, and I mistook it for another place.
I was surprised when I booked it because the price was less than $100 per night. But, as you can see from the pics, it’s just a room. The only thing I can say is that my room, at least, didn’t smell like cigarettes like hotels usually do when they’re this cheap. And the bathroom wasn’t filthy. But the carousel was kind of gross and sticky. Also, I’m only 5’7” and the shower head was installed too low for me. Definitely won’t be staying there again.
One of the few traditional mochi and wagashi made by a traditional Japanese family from Japan. I â¤ï¸ this place and always buy Chikara Mochi here, Tokyo Central, or at Nijiya markets.
The best powerlifting gym in LA! Iâve been coming here for a year now and I canât see myself going anywhere else. Anything you could ever need is here and the gym environment is the cherry on top. The community here is so supportive and encouragi
