Used the catering and ordered 6 different sandwich platters for a baby shower. The display was nice and they tasted great. I got a lot of compliments and not too expensive. Highly recommend.
Ninos is my favorite gourmet grocer. Always fresh produce and fruit. Well stocked and clean store. Staff is friendly and helpful. They have an extensive cheese and olive section. Fresh meat/deli & seafood as well and I cant forget their desert section. You can also get quality soups and ready to eat products such as sandwiches and salads.
A bit pricey but some things will surprise you. They have a lot of harder to find things like rare fruits and meats, like collosal white shrimp from Panama. Excellent desserts also. The vegetable area is always stocked and everything always looks really fresh. Also a lot of people working for such a small store makes you wonder how a place like Meijer can have one register open out of 40. I've seen less people working in an entire Walmart then I have seen in this place, which is maybe a 16th of the size. Of course things are more expensive but just doesn't make sense. Anyway I'm glad there are a lot of people around to help with any question you might have. So overall a great place with harder to find items but can be more expensive. Also to some of the spots in the store are a little bit tight and could be hard to get making it hard to get certain items because of how cramped it can be.
Slowest deli counter known to man, be prepared to wait at least 20 mins whether your ticket number is called or not and it doesn't matter the time of day. The lady after me actually walked away. The rest of the store is great though!
This store has great soup and other various items that I enjoy. I was telling my mom about it and decided to bring her with me so she can experience shopping here for the first time. On Saturday December 2nd, 2023 around 330pm we visited Nino’s and was excited about it especially for it to be my mom’s first time until we experienced POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! I took my mom to my favorite spot the soups and she was excited to get a couple to try. As we were talking there was a store associate (Caucasian lady) stocking the soups and she had the audacity to talk down to my senior citizen mother when my mom asked ME not her if the Cajun gumbo soup was too spicy. The store associate aggressively and sarcastically said well it SAYS Cajun on it so it tells you it’s spicy and she continued to go on as if my mom’s question was dumb. She is very lucky we just left church because my response to her would have not been nice at all because excuse me! She wasn’t talking to YOU. You don’t know what she meant nor do you know her medical condition of how much spice she can take!!!! My mother and I didn’t even go low to her stupidity HOWEVER I’m still pissed at her disrespect. So Ninos store manager please speak to your store associates about customer service and how to be respectful to elderly customers!!!!!
I've been coming to Nino's for decades and always loved it. Such a large selection of everything. I wish, though I could get some tangerines, but no one sells them anymore, or my cranberry-orange soft cookies.
Fresh veggies and fruit... love this store. It's been a while since I visited them. I usually buy it elsewhere but I wanted my fruit and veggies to last awhile and not worry or waste my money. I did not... I will be back this weekend
Extremely pleased with the prompt service and friendly staff. There was next to no wait in the checkout aisles despite being very busy. Having enough people working the checkout aisles made for a pleasant shopping experience.
