Nikki's Gourmet & Sushi - Japanese restaurant in Carolina Beach - 6 Lake Park Blvd S, USA

Came for sushi while in town and we were pleasantly surprised!! Great sushi selection (as well as a full menu). So many menu options, there's something for everyone. Came here as a last minute decision for NYE and we'll definitely be back. Our server wasn't the friendliest, but I'm assuming maybe she just had a rough day...plus it was NYE. I'm sure she'd rather be somewhere other than work so I'll give her some grace.

This is the place to go as a sushi lover! It was my 20th birthday and we decided to have a birthday dinner here. The fish was so buttery and fresh! I got salmon roe as well as sushi and it was so fresh that it tasted like they had just collected it out of the fish! Our server was kind and catering, even bringing me a tempura cheesecake with a sparkler and congratulated my birthday. I'd definitely come here again if I'm ever in the Carolina Beach area.

Nikki's sushi is by far the best sushi I've ever had. I've tried quite a few places, and this was a meal to remember. The quality of meat, flavors, and combinations were superb. I couldn't recommend this enough. The average cost of a chef special roll is $14-16 (which I find pretty standard) worth every penny.

We had a really nice time here. The calamari was good, the rangoons we delicious and the sushi rolls were very good. I thought the mackerel sashimi was a bit over marinated, but all in all we enjoyed this place. Certainly plan to return some time.

Nikki's is a go-to when we visit Kure/Carolina Beach! This time, my husband and I shared an angel hair roll and a dancing lady roll, along with some delicious apple sake. In the past, other family members have gotten appetizers and hibachi meals and everything has been top notch. The food is so good, service is wonderful, and the location is super convenient!

I would like to start off by saying that the restaurant is very clean the staff is all super nice and the sushi was absolutely phenomenal. The kids teriyaki chicken is amazing it was very tender and flavorful. It was a perfect first Experience. It is also very Reasonably priced. We will definitely be back.

New to this restaurant! Big sushi people! Decided to try and they did not disappoint! Service was great the food was even better! Best way to tell if the place is good is that they are busy so that the food turns over and is fresh! It was! We were there for more than an hour and not a single table available! Lots of people coming and going! A must try in Carolina Beach!

Came at an incredibly busy Friday night and they got our party of 8 seated in about 40 minutes. We had gyoza and the crab rangoon for an appetizer and they were both great! Someone told us while we were waiting to be seated that it was always busy, but worth the wait for the food. I would 100% agree. Not only that, we had Austin as a server and he knocked it out of the park. If you want some sushi or Hibachi at the beach, this is definitely the place to go!
