Ahhhhhhh, why would I go anywhere else after trying this amazing place? I’m Mexican. Trying different culture food not knowing what to expect, the OWNER, was helpful in recommendations & spectacular service. We will always come here from now on, to have a piece of Nigeria. WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE. FOOD, it’s indescribable. Hi have to try it yourself. I can’t compare it to something I’ve ate before, because it was just so different. Delicious! You can taste freshness & I know I was served authentic, AUTHENTIC TAKES TIME* this is not fast food. Go & enjoy your time here with great music & good atmosphere. I drove from Utah, when I saw this online.
Overall horrible experience. Ordered a plate of pounded yam with okra soup which is priced at $38. When asked for the choice of meat, I asked for goat meat. She stating that it will cost me an additional $18, tried forcing me to get a large plate which will also cost an additional fee. The Lady was very unprofessional, she kept making references to how her restaurant is structured to cater to white folks and so on.. I asked for my food to be mild and for the okra to be slimy. When the food arrived, it was a tiny portion, and it only came with 4 pieces of goat meat which cost an additional $18. Two tiny pieces and two big bones that even a lion in the jungle will pass on. I complained about the meat portion and big bones included. I asked if she can change the bones but she refused. The food was extremely spicy, the okra also was very crunchy and tasteless. This place needs to be SHUT DOWN!!!!! $68 for a small sized plate of okra soup with pounded yam.
Excellent Nigerian food! My wife and I are so glad to have found this place. Angie the owner goes through the great care of cooking the food completely fresh. So we waited about 30 to 40 minutes for our food and it was really worth it. If you are in a hurry just look up their menu online and order ahead of time. The food is probably one of the best we have eaten. We got the whole fish stew with plantain plus pounded yam and the jollof rice with assorted meats. Nicole our server was very pleasant. We will definitely be eating here and taking out very often. I grew up in Nigeria and I am so happy we finally have a wonderful restaurant here in Las Vegas!
Always wanted to try Nigerian food and decided on this place. We ordered the egusi combo mix meat, egusi combo fish, and the Jollof Combo mixed meat. The food was delicious. I actually dragged my family to go out and try it and they weren’t happy but after eating they enjoyed it so much that they licked the plates clean; they want to come back. The service was amazing; the server was really friendly and kind. He answered all our questions. He was running the place by himself cause his mother was sick and everything was perfect; very hard working. A place I would definitely tell others about.
Food was super good. I had pounded yam and okra soup. Very very nice and made fresh. I preferred to get a to go. Very expensive though, however it was delicious.
First I called before heading over there, I spoke to the lady cos I was skeptical about what i saw on the menu and the prices so I decided to go there and mind you I was really hungry. This was supposed to a Nigerian restaurant but she kept saying white people this and that and I’m like ain’t you a Nigerian restaurant? So now let’s go to the food .. presentation I’ll give it a pass and I mean the poundo only and the plate it was brought in. I got egusi and poundo , brothers and sisters this was an apology cos for someone who said she’s a chef that egusi was wack and the meat was hard,I couldn’t eat the meat cos I don’t even understand the little pieces she threw in there, I told her I don’t eat chicken but she constantly wanted to add chicken to my food cos it’s part of assorted meat 🤦🏾♂️.. She constantly kept comparing with white people for some weird reasons best known to her cos I don’t understand why. Lastly my cousin told her the goat meat which was extra 18.99 by the way meat was all bone she was going back and fourth … 2 plates of poundo and soup was way too expensive for $103 … this place is a complete waste of money and I regret coming here …. NEVER AGAIN!
Before and after!!! Need i say more?! LOVE the food!!!! Cooked fresh to order (unlike other places). ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!! 2nd time here in 2 days (visiting)!!! The BEST!!!!!! Trust me I’m a foodie!! 🤩
