I have gotten food here several times before with no problem. Yesterday I went in after breaking a fast and I was super hungry and excited to eat from here. First things first when I walked in I was standing there for a cool minute and none of the 3 workers said hello, or that they would be with me in a minute, nothing of that sort. And I was the only person in line. Overall the staff just weren’t as nice or welcoming as I usually remember. Then when I get in my car and take my soup out the paper bag was soaked and spilled all over my jeans and seat. How they packaged was not careful. My Turkey sandwich was not good at all even though it’s the same that I usually get.The Turkey tasted old or like it had just been sitting out. I ate 2 bites of my sandwich and threw it away. $17 down the drain I did not go back because I had an appointment to get to. I am so disappointed because i live within walking distance so come here often.
Growing up you get to experience different restaurants and get to see the small details that show a great place to dine before you even get to walk in the door. When it comes to sandwich shops you can always tell a great spot if the door is open and you can hear the atmosphere of the shop trickling out from customers laughing and talking with the employees to employees calling people up and asking who is next up. Nicks Sandwiches gives you that good ole sandwich shop feel. Great atmosphere, clean and modern interior, and a great menu to select from. That includes sandwiches of course along with some pastries and a good size coffee menu. Due to the small location it’s only take out but easily looked over with outdoor seating just a few steps away. The best part is they cater so if you have a party, event, meeting, or need to feed a lot of peeps they have options. The food is family budget friendly and portions are spot on for what you pay. My daughter ordered a custom sandwich that lasted her two meals, while my wife ordered a Green Goddess added chicken that I took a bite of and tasted great also lasted her two meals. For me I ordered the Chicken Cordon Bleu with everything on it and has officially become my go too Sandwich that did NOT last me two meals haha! Now the one thing you cannot pass on is The Fire Sauce and Stinky Sauce. There are no words to explain the amazing ness these sauces add to the food. Overall Nicks Sandwiches hands down will be one of my families go to spots with great fresh food at a good price, feel good atmosphere and the modern clean look I’m sure that will be true for many others.
Awesome sandwiches and very good breakfast sandwiches 🥪 😋 great service and a must to go if in the area.
The best sandwiches ever! The garlic sauce is amazing, the Meats are fresh and the bread as well.
Recently moved to the area so I’m trying out the local cuisine, and you always need a good sandwich spot! Gave this spot a try based on the reviews. Gave them a call ahead of time and the staff was helpful and friendly. Not so impressed by the sandwiches selection; I’d love to see more options, but I am pleased they have Dutch crunch bread. I tried the Cali Club, I tried it toasted; they do not skimp on the ingredients here, my sandwich was a handful, and the Stinky Sauce is the real winner! The bacon can definitely be crispier. Inside of the location isn’t much to write about. It’s in the downtown area so parking isn’t that great. I look forward to coming back and sharing this food with the rest of my family.
May I start by saying I have eaten at this sandwich shop many times. Sandwiches very good, a bit pricey but good. Staff very friendly. However last time I went I ordered my favorite turkey sandwich got ready to eat and opened it up and the first thing I see was a strain of hair. I do realize these things happens however a simple hair net should be required.
It was my first time here, and I loved the service, atmosphere, and, of course, MY SANDWICH!!! I plan to try a host of other sandwiches. Today, I had Turkey, Ham, Jalapeño, Sprouts, and Pepper Jack Cheese, with all the toppings except for Mayo and Tomatoes. I put it all on sliced wheat. Had to have that Sinky Sauce!
These a delicious sandwiches and they come hot or toasted the bread... 1st time trying their veggie sandwich and I have to say hands down the best Veggie sandwich have ever ...

What a great hidden gem I. Pittsburg, right next to the marina. Philly cheese was amazing and the potato salad was very good. Lots of bacon and dill. Beers great. We live in Pitt and love hanging out here. Relaxed crowd with a hometown vibe from days
Place was very clean. One other couple was there. I didnât realize their food was spicy. Whatever they put on my enchilada plate was too spicy for me. Told the lady and she just laughed. So i wasnât offered something else nor did i get a dis
Delicious, well served plates, with friendly service ð Came here for a family birthday lunch. Everything we ordered was delicious and had lots of left overs for to go. Definitely coming back. Lunch menu/price is great deal.
Nice park to go walking around . Took my cousins here to go fishing . We didn't catch nothing . But we had a good time . They got the bathrooms open here too. Picnic tables here too.
