We initially wanted breakfast but they stop serving at 11 am. So we definitely tried lunch! The system they have is on point. You get your food fast and it’s made to order! The service we received from Miss Linda today was phenomenal! Not only is she wonderful to the customers but she’s wonderful to the employees as well. I wanted a traditional Reuben but I did not think they had corned beef per their menu, so I requested a Reuben made with pastrami instead of the turkey and Linda was more than happy to oblige. My husband ordered the Way Burger and onion rings. He was in love! While our food was being prepared, we both requested for deserts first and they brought them right away. I had the banana pudding, very good. My husband had apple pie with a heaping of icecream! He said it was delicious! I wanted to try a bite of the pie but it was devoured before I could get my hands on it. We enjoyed our meal and will be going back to try the breakfast! Support local!!!!
This place reminds me of an old waffle house. Love rhe mom and pop vibe! Waitress(Alicia) was great and the French toast was a 5! The griddle biscuits were a little too much for MY PERSONAL TASTE. I know a ton of people would absolutely LOVE them. However, if I had to do again, I would ask for biscuits with a side of gravy and eggs and bacon. The reason is that they cook the biscuits on the grill and they are flatter and not as fluffy as I like mine with my gravy. The tastes were as expected but the biscuits were almost no existent in the plate as cooked. If you want fluffier biscuits, just tell the waitress and she can take care of you! We will come back when in this area! I gave the atmosphere a 4 because I didn't really check out the entire place and it is noisy like a waffle house, which, for today, I wasn't in the mood for...and a place HAS TO HAVE my vibe to get a 5. It is just how I review places.
The place made us feel like home the moment we walked in the door. The waitress recommended the Griddle Biscuit and it was amazing! My wife had a ham and cheese omelet and neither one of us left hungry. Great service, welcoming atmosphere and good prices...you can't go wrong. Can't wait to go back next time we are in the area.
We had wanted to try this place for a while now. They have great reviews and everyone says it's fantastic. I'm happy to report that the hype holds up. This place is great! The sandwiches and burgers are top notch. The fries were great and so we're the onion rings.
The Atmosphere is great. Once I walked in I could hear the griddle going and the chatter of customers having a good time just good memories of a eating at a hometown restaurant. The service was quick and the staff was friendly to everyone. Thank you Nick & J's Cafe.
This place is such a gem. We’ve been twice now and each time the food has been so, so good. The staff is super friendly and overall lovely people. It’s a cozy lil diner with a homey atmosphere. 10/10 recommend!
This place was amazing. Imagine a waffle house that is clean, nice and has good food. The staff is so nice even when busy. Whoever said it wasn't clean apparently was trying to be mean for no reason or don't realize you can't pick up someone else's crumbs while they are still eating. The entire time there were 4-6 people in a line that moved quickly. The food was well seasoned. We had Crystal's egg bowl. The potatoes were well seasoned and the eggs cooked well. I will be going back. Also give their baklava a try. It was pretty tasty.
We love their food and the wait staff. A great bunch of people and their breakfast and lunch items are awesome. We have made this a regular stop for us at least twice a month. They have made us feel like family and their food continues to satisfy our taste buds. We'll be coming back often
