Nice Inn Motel - Yuba City - Motel in Yuba City - 545 Colusa Ave, USA

The nastiest, dirtiest room I have ever stayed in. I can't believe the health department hasn't condemned this motel. Just saw the biggest cockroach I've ever seen. I thought I was in Texas. They charged $120 a night plus $40 deposit. I wouldn't pay two bits to stay here ever again. They are false advertising because the room picture on their website looks nothing like this room. They should be ashamed of them selves they are taking advantage of good people. I will report to health department tomorrow and see if they can be shut down. The gal that checked me in told me no smoking in the room and I told her I was a non-smoker. When I opened the door I about fell back out it. It reeked so bad of smoke I thought I would be sick. They had not bothered to swept or mop since I don't know when. When I called to request reservation woman was rude...

Worst motel in tha USA! Unfinished room looks like a repo job gone bad..no coffee pot ...no blanket on bed...lousy paint job...no amenities...towels never saw an ounce of bleach...cigarette butts under bathroom sink..Inadequate soap bars 2 inches by 1/4inch...smoke alarm covered with plastic bag...mold everywhere...running out of room to tell all....go somewhere else !!!

Me and my family stayed at this motel and let me tell you it was horrendous. First off it was 100 degrees outside and it was 110 degrees inside the room we were given. It was dirty, everything was dirty. We found a dead roach in the sheets we were supposed to sleep in. We also saw roaches that were alive crawling around. I would not recommend this motel at all. We had a terrible experience

I was up in Yuba City helping out at the evacuation shelter at the fairgrounds after the Paradise Camp Fire. When things got kinda of quiet I decided to find a hotel. Of course everything was booked but I finally found a place that had a room available, that should have been my first clue. I drove over and asked to look at a room. I should have known when I looked in the bathroom and saw that the middle mirror on the medicine cabinet was broken. I told the guy and he just mentioned that the previous people must have done that...||||Okay, I decided to get the room even though the air freshener spray really didn't mask the filthy smell that the room had but hey, I wasn't complaining as there were people who were sleeping in shelters on cots who had lost everything. I paid 80 bucks for the room and began unloading my stuff. That is when I noticed as nightfall was approaching more people started showing up and hanging out on the upstairs balcony and in doorways; and they were really busy looking at my truck as well as what I was carrying into my room, it was pretty shady. I was getting creeped out at this point so I locked up my truck real good and myself into the room. |||| I tried to hook up to the 'free internet' to no avail, couldn't get the old school tv to work and started to really notice how filthy the room really was after I put my glasses on! The cement tiled floors didn't even appear to have been swept!! Did I mention the stench was getting stronger and the air freshener was definitely wearing off? ||||At some point in the motels past there were adjoining doors and both of them had been screwed shut and heavily painted over and then I noticed the graffiti on the back of the front door!! This place was starting to get a little on the scary side and it suddenly didn't feel like a safe place to be as a woman alone and who knows what had gone on in this room I was in!! ||||The final straw was when I pulled back the sheets and they did not look very clean and there seemed to be some kind of grass clippings in the bed! That was it!! I packed up all my stuff, again the other patrons were watching my every move, and got the heck out of there!! I didn't even bother going back to the office for a refund!! |||| DO NOT STAY THERE! I ended up going back to the fairgrounds and sleeping in my truck!! I talked to the security guards who were from the Probation Department about where I had just been and they said that is where the county takes parolees and that is where they pick them up hence the creepy neighbors!! They also told me that it was a good thing that I left!

Room was dirty and they had "just cleaned it" as my friend was checking in. Lots of sketchy people hanging about in front of their rooms. Obvious drug use on site. It's in a bad area to be at night. Definitely Not a place to stay with your family! This used to be a great place to stay 20/25 yrs ago. Now I compare it to a garbage dump. These pictures were taken the next morning after she had them come in and clean it once again after she saw how bad a job they did the before she checked in. Management doesn't seem to have any issues with regards to the rooms condition or cleanliness. I wouldn't of given it 1 star, but had to rate in order to leave this information so others would be aware of this establishment.

If your wanting doors that don't shut, beds that don't match their frames so they slide off track, duck tape on walls and random graffiti too well than you go on and pay the nice people for their highly over priced room that litterally still had the last renters soaps and scum in shower. In a bathroom with a broken vanity and a door that don't shut or lock and a toilet that is only angled in center of room. I paid 100 bucks for me and my dog to stay there and i was happy for the r&r but other than that...no.

Beware: Nice Inn Motel is the new name of this dump. Window sign advertises "$49.99". When I asked if I could see a room, I was told, "No, we don't show our rooms." I asked if it was non-smoking and said that I wanted to be sure it didn't smell of tobacco. He said, "This is a motel. We don't show our rooms. That's not my job." ...and on and on. It was obvious he wanted me to leave, so I did. (I have never before had staff refuse to let me or my wife look at a room before moving in.)||||[Bonanza Inn is just 2-3 blocks away and a wonderful experience for just $20 more.]

It's a cheap hotel with a lousy run crew. They take your deposit based on how the owner wants to be towards you and I'm not making this up. I've seen him so it to countless people and I helped check a handicapped friend in one day the electronic key card malfunctioned and the owner didnt agree with that after he sent me to do it instead of doing his job and didnt let her stay because of that.
