One of those rare and great hole in the wall type wine bars. Pleasant and attentive service, with that local small business type that you want to support. They even have a small backyard area for the smokers .
This is a must for every San Diego local and anyone passing through. Some of the best beer you can find, great host, good food, and great vibes all around whether you are just stopping for a drink for a date or hanging out with friends.
Stumbled upon this local spot on a Sunday night when everything else in the area was doing last call. Thanks to Google & Yelp for listing but big thanks to the owner for the hospitality on the first time here. Great selection of kombuchas which is what I filled the 64oz growler with. Great ambiance! Music was key. Ordered 3 rounds & couldn’t be happier with the quality of service. Will be back with family &/or friends!
This is a hidden gem 💎 Arturo was so friendly and recommended amazing wines and beer for an evening out with friends. The music was upbeat and fun throughout the evening and even ended the night with karaoke!! Ask for Kiki too, you will not be disappointed!

A small wine bar with an excellent pair of owners, Arturo and David go out of the way to make every interaction feel like family, the food is amazing and the wine and beer selection are incredible. Trivia and Karaoke nights are really fun! No matter how your day is you can always be excited to end up Next Door. ;)
I thoroughly enjoyed this spot and it'll be in my rotation. It honestly feels like you're relaxing with friends at their house or in their yard. The owners are super nice and generous. The beer and wine selection is pretty extensive for such a small place. The meat and cheese board was huge and beautiful. Definitely a hidden gem.
