Newtons Woods/Russ Forest County Park - Park in Decatur - Dowagiac Creek, USA

Simply stunning fall 🍁 wonderland. Beautiful little quick hike to the serene Dowagiac Creek. Nice playscape, horse trails, pavilion with picnic tables and grills.

Nice little park. Seems to have nice trail system. Plenty of space for gatherings, multiple pavilions and tables. It has bathrooms and plenty of parking.

One of best trails we've walked yet. You can tell how well this park is maintained within moments of arriving. Trails are clearly marked with plenty of maps available and sitting benches along the way. Just watch out for horse poop while walking about... LOL! They allow people to bring their horses to ride, so there is that to be aware of. Surprisingly, there is no fee to enter. And the scenery is awesome, especially right now with the fall colors starting to pop. Will be returning many times for sure!

Beautiful! Was there for a cousins army retirement party. Took a stroll while we were there!

Nice little enclave. In middle of the woods, right off the road, with a nice little kids park.

Lovely trails for a walk in the woods & a beautiful, peaceful creek. The road is quite near in some places which disturbs the peace but away from those places it's still a beautiful place

Beautiful old growth forest to appreciate at anytime of the year. Can get pretty muddy at times. PLEASE DON’T ETCH NAMES INTO TREES!
