Newport Motel - Motel in Wildwood - 4900 Ocean Ave, USA

It was my first time staying at the Newport and I am looking forward to going back. The rooms are very nice, the view of the beach and boardwalk is wonderful. My whole experience there was very pleasurable. From the time I called to make my reservation I was treated extremely well and the rate was excellent. I couldn't have found a better place. I highly recommend this Resort !

I came down for the weekend and the staff was very professional, politely, and understanding. The rooms have amazing views that overlooks the ocean and an amazing pool. I was on the fourth floor and my housekeeper was Jade she was very nice and have a warm personality

If you’re looking for privacy and the freedom to do whatever you want, stay here. If you’re looking for an enjoyable, beachy, comfortable vacation, STAY AWAY!!! My group of 8 booked the Type E apartment (sleeps 9) months ago, only to get to the hotel and have the receptionist tell me someone else was already staying in it, AFTER SHE HAD ME PAY, and were given two separate rooms instead, breaking up our group. It was sneaky, and she showed no remorse nor did she offer any kind of helpful incentives or discounts. The rooms are small, hot, and completely run down. There are water/unknown stains EVERYWHERE, stains all over the beds and pillows, cobwebs, dust, that old, cigarette stench, and one of our roommates bed was in fact infested with bed bugs! He left the trip with bumps up and down both arms and legs. I’m willing to bet the big apartment we originally booked was well kept and the guests that took our place had no bed bug issue! The only good part about this hotel is the view from your balcony, and the location as it is next to and across all different exciting things (kohrs bros, mini golf, port cafe, wildwood sign, boardwalk, etc.) I encourage ALL TEENS to stay here and go crazy. Very nice cleaning staff, but management clearly doesn’t care about their guests, the cleanliness of the hotel, or their reputation.

This is the worst place I have ever stayed in my life, and I'm over 50. We were booked for 3 days and barely made it through 1 night. We couldn't move due to this being Memorial Day weekend and there being limited availability. The room was nasty with a big stain on the floor. A/C unit wouldn't cool to below 75. The inspection of the bed determined a nasty stained quilt with a discolored sheet. We didn't see bedbugs, but I'd not be surprised if they had them. The mattress was hard to the point that I believe it's what sleeping on a bed of cardboard would be like. If anyone rates this place above 1 star needed to review, the reviewer is a bot.

This is the worst place I've ever stayed at. I can't express how bad it was and due to the holiday weekend I was unable to move to another hotel due to availability. It was filthy. It was outdated and just plain nasty. I am on my way home now so I can decontaminate. I didn't see bedbugs but I wouldn't be surprised if the place had them. The mattress was like I'd imagine sleeping on a cardboard box to be. The hot water took approx 10 minutes to get warm and never got hot. A/C unit only cooled to 75. Pictures are best proof. If this place has more than 1 star...needed for a review it's got to be a bot.

Only rating a 3 because the the water pressure wasn’t the best and the beds were really hard and in our 1 room out of the 2 rooms we had didn’t have electricity 😅but other then that it was a nice stay. All the staff I interacted with was kind, it was within walking distance from basically everything and the view we had was nice as well.

This place is in desperate need of remodeling. The walls were stained and dirty the rug was old and dirty. The mattress was ridiculously hard. The toilet didn’t want to flush and at first the water came out brown. The only nice thing this place had was it’s location and check in/out was very easy. Very close to the boardwalk.

Not sure of the reviews, however, the stay was great and the front desk provided outstanding service. My room was spotless and I had an amazing Ocean view of one of the best beaches on the East Coast! Also, a breakfast establishment was next door with an outstanding breakfast. This is in walking distance to Yoga on the Beach.
