Visited today and did the all inclusive experience. It was so worth it. I think people who see "zoo" get confused when in reality they are an animal shelter. They have lots of animals, most you can pet and feed fresh vegetables to that you get when you check in. The inclusive experience was worth it for private one on one time with select animals. I can see where some people become negative about the place if they think they're going to a zoo and don't do their research to see what this place is really about. The animals are pretty friendly and you can tell they're looked after (they love people!), the animals look pretty healthy and I like I said get fed fresh veggies and also hay/pellets/etc so they're definitely eating. Yeah it can get a little messy (they're animals come on) but the staff were raking and trying to keep in as clean as possible. My only criticism is the crowd. It gets crowded fast! I'd recommend doing timed entry slots for everyone not just the experiences as it would give the animals a bit more room and help it stay cleaner, plus a little less chaos with less people. Other than that, the staff cares. They're super knowledgeable about the animals too which is pretty cool.
Great little stop in the Aquarium Village. Staff was helpful and friendly. If you're looking a unique little experience in Newport, this is it! My fiance fell in love with the Patagonian Maras
If I could give it zero Stars I would. Even my six-year-old son knew how those animals were kept was wrong and disgusting. There was piles of feces in almost every tank and birdcage. Almost all of the tanks were dry on water and if they did have water it looked like it hadn't been changed in weeks. The conditions the snakes and animals are being kept in is NOT the correct way to house those animals..... I wanted to cry seeing how someones making a profit on a life and treating it like that in return.... I'll never go back and I hope this review will stop people from supporting a disgusting business like that
I’ve gone here multiple times, and every time I’m on the verge of tears. This place is so unclean, unsafe, and just all around horrible. In their “reptile room” they have venomous snakes in simple basic tanks sitting on the ground…. They have turtles and tortoises just walking around, and one was stuck under a shelf that I had to help and remove. The alligator and turtle tanks were so green you couldn’t see through it, and half the animals looked dead. I don’t see how this place is still open, and do not recommend it to anyone.
This place is AMAZING! The owner is the nicest guy on the planet. We had a private sloth encounter and the owner stayed with us and answered all 5 trillion questions I asked. We then got to go out to the petting area with all the other animals and it was epic. We will definitely be going back frequently.
The pictures do not do it justice! I could have spent 3 hours there and not gotten bored. The animals were very interactive and tame. Fun for the whole family. Some of the animals looked like they could have used a little more attention in the hygiene department. But all were very well taken care of. Will definitely be back!
Not really a petting zoo. There are pigs, heritage chickens, an alpaca, emu, guinea pigs tortoises. In a separate area there are caged parrots, snakes, tortoises/turtles. The unchanged animals were in a large pen. You are given a small package of veggies as part of your $12 admission to feed the animals. For me, it was a sad, disappointing and overpriced experience.
The experience is fun and unique. Take caution with the animals they are agressive for food & the workers are not joking when they say the animals bite! One goat bit my two year Olds finger and drew blood. Luckily my son is a tough cookie and it didn't ruin our visit. Just be super careful!!

This public beach access is at the end of the road on 68th. It is not well marked so just drive to the end and youâll see a few parking spots on the left and a beach access sign. Itâs a beautiful stretch of beach with a view of the lighthouse to

It has that oregon coast vibe for sure. Bartenders were friendly and fun. Of coarse the beer was good but so were the cocktails. Afterward you can take with you some of the goods canned beers and seltzers as well as some great spirits.
This place is a gem find! They changed hands the last time we came and this is the 2nd time since we dined there since they took over. They did an amazing job staying true to the original menu. I truly believe that they serve the best corned beef ha
