Newk's Eatery - Restaurant in Ridgeland - 733 Lake Harbour Dr, USA

I got food poisoning, decided to give my stomach a rest. Went to Newk’s for some potato soup. Oh my goodness, the chef must of stubbed his toe while dumping in the salt, and then, didn’t have enough sense to taste it. I got salt flavored potato soup. Simply awful!

We have gone to this Newk's location for years and have never had an employee interaction like this before. Lately when we have been coming to eat, we order the Pick 2, cup of soup and small mac and cheese. We went to the order station and the server, who we have seen work there for a while now, punched in my mother's order wrong. While my mother and I were confirming to each other that the order was wrong on the screen, the server heard the conversation and with the rudest, most vile tone said, "Fine I will fix it" while throwing her hands in the air, my mother tried to explain to her that we were talking to each other; leading to the server getting her manager. The long dark haired manager was very helpful and tried to get our order correct, asking if we had remembered the previous employee who had helped us our last visit. The previous employee with long black hair and bangs came up to the counter and with the help of the manager completed our order but they also thoroughly explained how the system had been updated last Tuesday and that they were no longer able to do the small mac and cheese and the cup of soup, with the original server standing back not saying a single word after being extremely rude to us. We thanked the server and manager for helping us understand the new update and how we will have to order in the future. Once we had gotten our drinks and sat at our table, the manager came back to us to make sure everything was okay and then explained the system, once again, and then the app reward points. We have come to this Newk's location for years, lately the food has either been a hit or miss and we keep going back in hopes of it being good. But this interaction made us have the conversation of not coming back to this location, especially if they allow their employees to speak to their guest this way. I do applaud the manger and the employee with long black hair with bangs for having outstanding customer service skills and being so kind, not just in the way they spoke to us, but in the way they explained the situation and made it right for us.

I got off work this past Friday night & I wanted something new & different. So I stopped by Newk's right here on Lake Harbour Dr. This was my very 1st time coming here. I ordered the full chicken bacon club sandwich & a cup of chicken tortilla soup. My wife had the half sandwich pick a pair. She had the Newk's club & a cup of chicken tortilla soup. I must say this was a pretty good meal. My sandwich was more than filling, prepared how I ordered it & delicious. The chicken tortilla soup was hot & seasoned just right. Overall I will say we definitely enjoyed the meal & will be back again to try something different on the menu. Those pick a pair meal deals are the best.

Quick order for lunch. This place does get really busy but the food came out hot and the deliver it right to your table. It was the perfect place to go with a large group of people.

My food was prepared with fragments of other food on the sandwich. It was awful and messy. I will never eat there again.

It was a great place. Me and my friend were there in town for a soccer tournament. We went there to eat and I was good. Not as many options if u dont want sandwiches. The Mac and cheese was ok. It's a good spot for a quick lunch. I made a funny video with my friend on my channel "thatgirladdison11"

We had more crust exposed with no toppings on it. For the price, this was unacceptable. Was it the economy?

I love this location. Order is always ready in a timely fashion. Always place my order through the app. They have curbside pickup. Love the pizza, soups, and salads. The salads are huge, except for pasta salad. Not so into the desserts.
