Small pizza place in Collierville. We want to try something other than a chain pizza place and we decided to try this place based on the reviews. WOW! We were NOT disappointed. The extra wait to get the food was completely worth it. Our kids said it was the best food ever. We’d have to agree! We want to come back and try more speciality pizzas (adult friendly haha) and appetizers.
Not sure what happened with my pizza because I see great reviews, but I have to be honest. I ordered 2 slices of meat lovers and a bread not, it cost $20. Not really complaining about the price, but the style of pizza. When I think New York, I think foldable soft pizza. My pieces were cooked extremely hard and crunchy. For the price I'd much rather have Exlines or Broadway, at those two places, I at least know it's worth the money. This was first visit and I definitely wouldn't eat here again. Only because we have so many better options in the city.
Last weekend was the second time we ate at New York Style Pizzeria. Up until then I haven't found a pizza place that makes true Italian pizza. Being from Germany that's all I know, since most pizza parlors are owned by real Italians. I have to say the NY style pizzeria did not disappoint. The owner learned from true Italians in New York how to make pizza and it was the best one I had since living in the USA (2006). If you want the real deal, go and visit Jose!
If you want a true NY-style pizza, this is your place!! I grew up on the east coast and I am a bit picky about pizza and antipasto. This place is SO GOOD for both. Their sizes are generous and we definitely over-ordered the first time but it reheated very well in the oven for leftovers. Very friendly service as well.
From NY, honestly some of the best pizza in the area, like my pizza well done and they certainly do a great job. Chicken Parm hero is nice too
Wow, really amazing pizza, you definitely need to try the cheese pizza “AMAZING” I’m definitely returning. The owner has been Making pizza’s for 28 years in New York so it’s definitely the real deal
Hands down the best pizza in or around Memphis. We have tried almost every pizza place and no other one even comes close. The place is clean, the staff is nice, and the Pizza is Awesome. It is the closest to NY style you will find. Our new favorite Mom and Pop pizza shop!
Worst pizza we’ve had - there were no ingredients - Thin crust but ordered a hand tossed…. Made 2 trips tonight - first and last. Terrible pizza 🍕 Manager didn’t seem to care….. would give them no stars if it was possible.
