By far the best hotel I’ve stayed at in New Orleans, I’ve stayed at many fancy hotels. This one felt very adult like, didn’t have anybody partying in the lobbies or and drunk folk that were loud. Valet service was wonderful. As soon as we got there we were greeted by valet and a gentleman that carried our bags up to our room. Process of checking in and out was the smoothest I’ve ever experienced. Rooms were spotless, and we even had housekeeping replace sheets without asking. 99% of hotels, you have to ask to replace sheets and towels. In terms of location, you can’t beat it, right in the middle of New Orleans and within walking distance of absolutely everything you’d want to do. Will be back here again for sure.
Overall a nice stay. Very convenient location as it’s close to really everything we wanted to see. Lobby/Store staff are very nice and the amenities are great (food pantry that also serves hot food, Starbucks, and a burger grill in the lobby). My only complaint is the room was not serviced well. We found a pair of shoes just under the bed skirt, so that’s a pretty big tell that the room hadn’t been cleaned very well. The glasses left for us to drink out of were grimy. The trash can is teeny tiny and there weren’t any bags. Also, the shower curtain was just draped over the shower rod and didn’t even fit it. Other than that, decent hotel.
Stayed for 4 nights the past week and it’s a walkable distance to most areas. Booked an Executive Suite, 1 Bedroom, 1 King bed. The trip took a turn when I was awakened by the sound of running water. I ran to the sink since I thought maybe it was overflowing. Then the ceiling tile fell on top of me! Kicker is that my 5 month old was being held there as it was right in front of the kitchen and sink area only a few minutes prior to the ceiling tile caving in. Called front desk and they sent John from house keeping pretty immediately. He was sympathetic to our situation and apologized profusely. The AC water had run off and pooled above the tile and when it couldn’t handle the weight it caved in. The water continued to drip so placed the garbage under it and wiped the floor that was soaking from the water that spilled from the roof. I went down to the front desk to ask for an incident report. Spoke with the manager who didn’t seem to know protocol for such an event. Kept going to the back and speaking to someone to find out how to proceed. Security came, took down the report, came upstairs and took photos. I had to go to the front desk to ask for a room change. Was not offered it from management or anything for my troubles that morning. Checked out the next morning and was handed an invoice for incidentals from the same manager I had spoken to the morning before. No apologies for the experience and no compensation. Marriott claims center reached out a couple of days later and the max they could compensate was half the stay. Marriott clearly appreciates their customers….
Stayed centrally, in the Quarter Tower of the Marriott. Overlooked the pool from the 15th floor, with a view of the river. Overall, hotel was quiet. Some signs of rooms showing their age (towel rack coming off in the bathroom, out of place ceiling tiles). Overall, what you would expect, and with lower prices in the summer, was worth what we paid for it.||Public spaces were well designed and executed.
Stayed here in July 2024 for a few hours. Easy valet parking that’s about $30-$40 a day. Clean and conveniently located near bourbon street. Two nice rooftop outdoor pools. Didn’t get a chance to use them, but looked nice with a nice view of the city. Clean and quiet.
We stayed for a weekend, the location is perfect for visiting all tourist places. We even walked to the saints game which was a 20 minute walk. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Thanks to Thanh and his valet supervisor for assisting me looking for a lost item. Also thank you Sam from security! Check in was very easy. Room
Service was very fast, under 15-20 minutes. The beignets at the Marriott tasted way better than Cafe Du Monde!! Have to try it!!
The New Orleans Marriott is a hotel I would recommend due to the quality of service provided before, during, and after the stay. The people I interacted with and assisted me during the stay went above and beyond to ensure I felt appreciated. Due to the hotel's location, it can get crowded at the front desk upon check-in. The staff did their best with the demand and worked with housekeeping to expedite rooms' availability. ||I stayed in one of their crescent suites, which were quite comfortable and spacious. The room was a corner suite, which allowed me to see the French Quarter and the river. The lounge was more than spacious and served great breakfast and dinner options, while the restaurant near the bar area was great, and bartenders served excellent drinks. ||I would like to thank both Javier R. and Eddie P. for going above and beyond during my stay. It is great to know people who are still invested in what they do in the hospitality field and make others feel more than appreciated. I look forward to my visit again to NOLA and will definitely consider the New Orleans Marriott as one of my hotels to stay.
This place was fantastic! They suggested some awesome off-the-beaten-path and regular tourist activities, & gave us several gift cards to start our trip right. The only slightly sour note, at first, was the unexpected "not optional" daily fee for food (less than $20). But they had a good menu, breakfast & lunch/dinner was made to order and delicious. It ended up saving us time & money, knowing there was already a great meal paid for and waiting with no hassle. The place had a very chill atmosphere and felt super comfortable.
We had such a wonderful time staying at The Inn. We were greeted by our wonderful host⦠I mean warden. Todd was great and walked us around the jail, showing us where everything was. He had great suggestions for where to eat and shop. The kitchen ha
The executive king room is amazing, like having our own apartment right in the heart of the French quarter. Very clean. Great hotel staff. Easy to walk everywhere. My only complaints would be the water pressure is non-existent, but I imagine with old
