I enjoyed my stay. The rooms were clean and cozy to me. The area was very quiet. You are within walking distance to the local fast restaurant and Wal-Mart. You can't beat the price. I was surprised to see they had a mini refrigerator and microwave in the room. Close to interstate.

Prix un peu élevé pour ce genre d'établissement (mais en période de mardi gras) On a quand même pu laisser notre voiture sans surveillance mais sans risque. Il y a une ligne de bus au coin de la rue

I contemplated even putting this review because I didn't want anybody to find out about this motel. It is such a hidden gem. Sure, it looks sketchy on the outside but the interior was unexpected. I requested a non-smoking room and was pleasantly surprised. All the upholsteries were new and modern looking. Bed cover design was horrible though. Bathroom was a regular hotel bathroom. My only complaints are that the blinds didn't close all the way and the walls were definitely thin. Otherwise, if you're not high maintenance and just need a inexpensive place to close your eyes for a few hours, this is the place to go. This is a nice, clean spot to stay during your visit. I must repeat that it is inexpensive, so please don't expect shower shampoo and conditioner. You'll get the basic shower soap bar. A plus for me is that the room had a microwave in a fridge so I could store all that good food I was eating. This will be my go-to place to stay anytime in in the NO.

We had a good stay memorial weekend. Wasn't crowded had newly remodeled rooms a little small for some but was safe clean efficient and good water pressure and good hot water better than most places at a higher price. map it to see if you'd like it before booking. It may not be for everyone. We enjoyed the stay

Let me just start by staying the customer service at this place is AMAZING above & beyond my expectations! The owner David is the Nicest guy!!!! We had been driving 10 hours with a load, by the time we checked in only a couple places were open. He called a nearby place and arranged for some pizza to be picked up AND he even let us use his personal vehicle to go pick it up!! Not to mention we slept great! Clean rooms, comfy beds!! Great Stay! Highly recommend would definitely stay here again if we are ever passing through!!!

I had to have them clean the bathroom and put clean sheets on the beds as soon as I inspected the room. Someone stole the light bulbs from the wall lights. The gentleman came in and replaced them and fixed the switch. The bed I slept in was very comfortable. The other bed not so much. The employees were very nice.

My husband and i needed a quick get away and we were on a budget. I'm more of a thrifty shopper trying to get more for little money..we are here in the second week of march..so the rates are great..i booked online however and payed about 230 ( downtown this price is for one night) for 3 nights. and it equaled to about 260 give or take with taxes.when i arrived one of the hotel staff members wasn't aware that i had a reservation and said the room was 60 a night for a king. the same room i book online..face palm! it was too late to cancel the online reservation.At first appearance of the motel i was concerned about safety and i asked the front desk attended he assured me that they do not have problems because they have security 24 hours..and he said but if you want,i will put your room near the front of the motel for you... The staff is helpful and the room was clean! bring your own toiletries. the room has a small fridge and microwave.. there is a market in walking distance.. the bus takes you downtown and a very nice man,who lives at the hotel will bring you home at night for 20 dollars..being from the suburbs, i love useing public transportation when on vacation! The staff was very helpful. with directions and any questions we had. free wifi, free parking.my husband and i had fun..it's not the Ritz carlton but it gets the job done..

I have no complaints. The property is very well maintained. The carpet was new, the room very clean, the bed comfortable. There is a microwave and fridge in the room. The location is fine--it is about a half mile from restaurants, stores, etc. There is also a bus stop within 1/2 mile. It is about 4 miles from the French Quarter, so a good option for a much lower priced room if you're willing to drive a short distance and park. I had no trouble finding free, on-street parking within a 10 minute walk of the French Quarter. The motel is in a very safe location. The wi fi was ok.
