Awesome State Capitol where you can roam the halls, see the actual offices for committee meetings, governors office, etc. But most importantly you can see art and exhibits that provide a window into NM history and provides a voice to Pueblo People and other natives before it was Nuevo Mexico.

The New Mexico State Capital houses both charmers and you can walk through the hallways and enjoy all the artwork. I've visited twice and I enjoyed walking around the halls. New Mexico State Capitol is located in the city of Santa Fe.

During my recent vacation to New Mexico, I spent a few days in Santa Fe. During my time in Santa Fe, I was able to visit the New Mexico State Capitol Building. The building is unique in that it doesn’t have a dome and is the only state capitol that is circular. For this reason local call it “The Round House.” During my visit there were a couple of very helpful staff members who were more than happy to explain the history of the building and its artwork. They explained that the building was constructed between 1964 and 1966, making it the third new state capitol building. Only Hawaii and Florida have newer buildings. The centerpiece of the building is the rotunda that has the New Mexico Seal inlaid into the floor. Most of my visit was self-guided and I ended up spending a little more than an hour at the Capitol.

We enjoyed and loved the quick tour of it. It’s beautiful and so unique architectural style. You can definitely recognize this uniqueness at a first glance.

So, I'm a recent transplant to New Mexico. I reside in Albuquerque. I took the Rail Runner train up to Santa Fe, yesterday, for the first time for my hastily thrown together last minute planned day trip. I absolutely loved Santa Fe. And I do mean I loved it. New Mexicans should be proud to call a city like Santa Fe their capital. So, I started my day upon disembarking from the train sort of just stretching my legs and walking heading nowhere in particular. And voila! There's the Roundhouse right in front of me. I so loved my experience touring this beautiful state capitol. I had no idea that it held such a fantastic collection of art. I probably spent an hour just taking in all the amazing art. I went on to tour The New Mexico Museum of Art and they were both equally impressive. Best capitol I've ever visited outside of our nation's capitol. If you're visiting Santa Fe I completely recommend a visit here.

This is an art gallery and a Capitol. I love all the artwork here and the flags representing the various tribes in the state. There is a security checkpoint that takes maybe 2 min then you can wander all the floors and see the various artwork.

Not the loveliest building on the outside, unique and round though. It has a nice big rotunda-type center and a very cozy feeling in the 3rd floor hallways and seating areas, which are plentiful. Possibly the best contemporary art works of any (of the 30+) capitol buildings we have visited. I like that it appears tobe functional, almost elegant, and was paid for by a foundation, rather than public funds.

This place is wonderful. Since the brew is jun-style it creates higher alcohol, less acidity, and without the vinegar taste of kombucha while still containing millions of probiotics. With the use of honey, the flavors are all more complex and brighte

Great place to hike alone or with family/ friends. Get there early so you can get a parking spot, and the earlier you get there, the less traffic you have to follow up the hill. Dogs allowed, but must be on a leash if aggressive. Great views, too.

We just went for the first time. The weather was really bad so the play area was mostly closed as was the visitor center. However we did explore outside, saw some wild turkey, and look forward to going back on a nicer day to take advantage of the kid
