My son (guitar) and I (drums) are both taking lessons at New City School of Music and we are both having a fantastic experience. It's our first time playing any instrument and have made so much progress in such a short time. Everyone at the school is warm and friendly; it's nice just walking in there. Lessons seem to be tailored to the students' interests and are fun to attend; somehow that motivates us to practice more, too. Highly recommend.

New City Music has been fabulous. They take the time to check in to make sure that both my daughter and I are happy with the lessons. They are very flexible about make-up classes. If I have ever had a problem, they were there to listen and offer up solutions. My daughter loves her singing lessons. Her teacher, Lexie is wonderful. She is friendly and knowledgeable.

We love going to music school, we're there is always welcome with a big smile and super nice teacher, my sun is really love his and feel so lucky. They also so so understanding and on time with the class and trying to help when ever they can!

Great school. The level of professionalism is high. Students get the maximum amount time for their sessions. My son does piano and voice and he is loving it. Mr Reeco his instructor is the best.

My son just started playing the clarinet this year and he is a real beginner. He started taking lesson in August and is really enjoying it. His teacher has given him some great tips to help him better his scale and placement of his fingers. Also, excellent communication from everyone in this establishment. The are kind, encouraging and professional!

My son is taking drum lessons at The New City School of Music and absolutely loves it! He enjoys his sessions and Peter (his teacher) is great! From the parent perspective, I find the school director (Sam) and his staff to be easy to work with and very nice. I had called a couple of other schools and found that this school was organized and communicated their fee structure, scheduling and program very clearly. The fees seem very competitive and the instruction has been great. I would recommend them to anyone, kids or adults!

New City School of music is amazing. My youngest son started violin lessons with Ruby in January. Her knowledge and dedication (as well as patience) with him has helped him get off to a fine start. He loves coming each week. Then there’s Anita. She’s the first person you meet. Her enthusiasm and obvious love for the students is contagious. She’s always ready with a smile and a positive greeting for each and every person that walks through the door. I can not recommend them enough.

Once we found the right piano instructor for our daughter's personality and learning style, everything fell into place. She enjoys practicing (mostly) and is always excited to learn. Friendly staff and very helpful finding the right fit. We are impressed with her progress and happy she looks forward to it.
