Neptune Beach Hotel & Suites - Motel in Old Orchard Beach - 82 E Grand Ave, USA

Motel 1 * ,chambre no 2 , très petit , désuet, malpropre, odeur d'humidité, air climatisee remplie de poussière ( dans la cuisine) ,vielles portes tachées, rideau de douche souillés, cafetière brisée, peu de vaisselle, pas de table de salon ni table de chevet, situé directement en avant de la traverse de chemin de fer et le train passe même la nuit. Chaque nuit le train passe à 4 reprises donc impossible de dormir. Notre voisine de chambre ( 4 ) Eileen dit être une employée du motel , son espace de balcon est remplit de de déchets empilés, elle se chicane et crie avec d'autres employés....ouffff on doit se tenir loin de cette femme qui traite son propre boss de riche sans cervelle....et j'en passe.

Une chambre des horreurs! Une forte odeur de produits nettoyant mixer avec l’odeur la cigarette était présente pour notre accueil. Peinture qui écaille, fenêtre sale à l’arrière, balcon qui a l’air d’un débats. Dans ma chambre le tapis était tellement sale que je n’ai même pas voulu y enlever mes souliers de tout mon séjour. Au niveau de la kitchenette, le mobilier est vieux et abîmé, les chaises pleines de taches de peinture. Les ronds de poêle n’étaient pas tous utilisable et j’ai dû laver la vaisselle à notre disposition avant de m’en servir car elle n’était pas propre. Dans la chambre, il n’y pas de table de nuit j’ai donc dû prendre l’une des chaises de la cuisine pour y mettre mes effets. L’espace entre le lit et le mur pour circuler est de 18 po. Les draps dans le lit étaient propre cependant des taches sur me taie d’oreillers. Le matelas et les oreillers devraient être remplacer. La salle de bain doit avoir 2 pieds de large entre le mur , la toilette et le bain/douche. La salle de bain et la douche était très propre (ceci est le point positif!!) par contre le drain était bouché car la douche vidait très lentement. |Durant la nuit, j’ai eu un premier réveil brutal! L’hôtel Neptune est situé à environ 20 pieds d’un chemin de fer et à proximité d’un passage via la rue WALNUT donc le train siffle lorsqu’il y passe et les murs de l’hôtel tremblent. La première nuit 7 trains sont passés et la seconde nuit 2. J’ai fait ma réservation pour le motel Alouette qui est propre et qui possède une belle réputation et j’ai cru jusqu’à la prise de possession de mes clés que j’y serait. Mais il faut porter attention au détail car c’est motel alouette & Neptune.

Stayed in the Neptune Inn (at Alouette Resort, Old Orchard Beach, ME). It was pretty filthy. The floor had a massive black stain and made your feet dirty. Furniture was ripped and stained all over. The kind of furniture you get from a dumpster. The fixtures haven’t been updated since 1970 (in a bad way). The bed was lumpy and uncomfortable. The two single beds are in the front room, which does not have ac so it gets extremely hot in the morning. I borrowed an iron from the front desk and it left a black stain on a nice shirt. The train noise is everywhere in orchard beach, so I can’t complain about that. The good: bathroom had clean towels. Kitchen was big enough to cook in.

Rented 2 rooms at this hotel for myself and other family members. I can only describe it as somewhat slum like. Smelled of cigarette smoke. Seriously in need of paint and other repairs. Doors and walls chipped. Exterior doors very thin and chipped. Felt less than safe. One thin curtain not wide enough to cover window in bedroom. Strange waxy substance that scrubbed off bathroom sink. Glad I brought disinfectant wipes.. Other than that it appeared that the housekeepers tried to clean inside. Flooring in front of exterior door had significant debris in front of it. Should have been cleaned up for guests. Train tracks less than 20 feet from back (bedroom) door. Person who rented me rooms said that she has never heard complaints about it. I counted no less than 4 times during night that the train whistle woke me. Only plus was that the beds were clean and mattresses seemed new. I don't believe I've ever written a hotel review before, but wanted to warn others. If I had paid "cheap" hotel pricing, I would not complain. However, I have paid pretty much the same to stay at a beach view hotel in the Caribbean.

We came in for a wedding where a majority of our group had rooms at the Alouette “Resort”, we were at their other location up the road, Neptune hotel and “Suites “I could not believe we had to pay more per night to stay 2 nights in that dump. Almost $300/ night and the place was filthy and very outdated. Counter top and table were sticky, floors made our feet black. The bed was so hard and uncomfortable. Hope you’re not a light sleeper since the trains go by between 1 & 3 am with whistle blowing then again around 7:30am. We have stayed in OOB many times and this was by far the worst place we have stayed. I don’t know what qualifies calling these places Resorts and suites. OSHA should pay a visit to both locations, hazards everywhere. One positive, check in was fast and the woman checking us in was very friendly. Unfortunate it was not worth the amount charged. I wish I could share the videos we took.

The room was in poor condition, I would love to share our pictures. This room is poorly maintained we found dirt and stains under the mattress and burn hole on the countertops. The carpets had a damp musty smell. The front door did not seem to be tight when locked from the outside. I left a a day early cause it was not sitting well with us and I think the owners should be embarrassed that they feel this room is worth 500.00 for two nights. I Strongly recommend you avoid this hotel at all cost.

I rented a 2 bedroom through the Alouette and ended up at the Neptune "Flat". We needed a 2 bedroom hotel for a family of 4 with 2 kids. The second "room" was a closed in 3 season porch. The two bedrooms were connected and the door between them was all glass and there was a window in the wall between the bedrooms. I don't know about you, but having glass doors and a window between 2 rooms is not very private. Once I put my kids to bed I had to keep all of the lights off. Even a curtain over the window and door would have made a big difference.

Our first room smelled of Marijuana and tobacco, which was suppose to be a non smoking room, I asked to have my room changed and this was granted , our second wasn’t much better. The 2nd room had a musty smell, had stains on the box spring cover. There were burn whole on the counters.(again a non smoking room). We paid for two night and only stay one night which we never slept under the covers because we felt the bed were dirty. I regret not complaining about the second room. We paid over $500 for two nights, I expected to have a clean place to stay in, but instead I went home early hoping that those stains on the box spring cover wasn’t bed bugs stains! I will never stay at this place again and I recommend no one else should either!
