My husband and I came to Terranea for his birthday and we stopped by Nelson’s for lunch and a quick cocktail at sunset. We were lucky enough to have Noe as our server both times. He had a great personality, made amazing suggestions, and just added to our already perfect day. We’ll most definitely return on a Sunday per his recommendation.
Great food. Service was a bit slow, but they were very busy. Chilly with the breeze off the ocean. Would not have gotten a table without a reservation. Some loud kids with lame parents soured our dinner. Expensive place. Parking was not easy and ended up doing the valet. First time there and getting to the restaurant through the resort was not easy... prepare yourself for a long hilly walk with steps.
A comfortable place with very accommodating service. While we were there they had several specials they were trying out as additions to their menu. Everything was very tasty. Plus you can't beat the ocean views.
Restaurant is right on the water. This was my second visit to Nelson’s. Ended up ordering the lobster roll with sweet potato fries and a GAINT pretzel. Highly recommend a visit for the delicious food and experience.
Top Los Angeles location, without a doubt. Great food, amazing location, luxurious staff, and the ocean was close and beautiful. Food and wine timing was all messed up but the rest was so good we just went with it. I will be back table 91 and 92 allow you to watch seals in the kelp. Good times
Only had Fish&Chips with beer. At first, I was hesitating by looking at the round shape of fried fish BUT taste was good and glad there was Malt vinegar 😋 I enjoyed both food and view!!
Loved the location - it was very beautiful and on a Saturday we were able to get a walk-in table outside. I understand they were a bit busy, and the servers were really nice but after taking our initial order no one checked in on us for a long time until I finally had to ask what the status of our burger was. I really liked that they had vegan cheese on the vegan burger, few places do! The burger was ok, not too flavorful but the fries were great.
Let's talk about those swordfish tacos, folks. They're like a flavor explosion in your mouth—grilled swordfish, fresh toppings, and a zesty sauce that'll blow your taste buds away. Pair 'em with their lip-smacking margaritas, and you're in foodie heaven. And don't even get me started on the nachos. Loaded with all the good stuff, they're a cheesy delight. But the real showstopper? The sunset view. Picture this: sipping a margarita, munching on tacos and nachos, and witnessing a jaw-dropping sunset over the ocean. It's pure magic, my friends.

A spectacular well-hidden spot thatâs open to the public not just the resort. For those who may not know, this spot is entirely open to the public. We initially went there and saw lots of cars entering the resort with valet parking up to $25 per d
Another beautiful spot in Palos Verdes. Nice and easy hiking trail, good for kids. Very clean park and trail. There are a few benches next to the parking lot and also inside that you can sit down and do some picnic.
Free and available parking. Ramp and stairs option to go down. Baseball and basketball field. Three different play areas, including swings. Didn't see an adaptive swing though. Large grass field with an incline. Picnic tables with benches. Bathroom a
