I’ve been coming here my entire life. One of my favorite burger joints, period. Amazing fries and shakes. Burgers are simple, but so good. And Nells has the best fry sauce ever!
Pros: Meals are cooked fresh. The wrap was good. The salad was good. The lady at the window was kind and energetic. The hamburgers tasted very good. The shakes were very good as well.
Cons: As seen in the pictures the hamburgers don't have much visual appeal. Minimal veggies and crushed buns made me a bit nervous about the quality.
I would definitely recommend.
For many, many years, they've always had great food, and their drinks are amazing! They're also one of the few businesses who haven't excessively jacked their prices up through the roof.
Definitely, not good burgers…at least the few we got. The Burgers were unseasoned and the salad burger sauce didn’t taste like anything. The Fire Burger had no heat or flavor. The Fries were pretty good…but I think they put the salt that was supposed to go on the burgers on to the fries.
I'm not quite sure why the locals love this place so much. It's your average fast food with terrible service. The fries are extra greasy. We spent $28+ and asked for ketchup and the girl said it's $.25 each packet. That's insane! Nickel and dimming customers is never a good thing.
Love this place. My absolute favorite thing to order are the sweet potato fries w a side of their famous BBQ sauce, their large order is enough to share between three people i’d say. & their drink options are endless! If you like polar bears, you’ll love their marshmallow polar bear milkshake it’s to die for! Forever one of my favorite spots in La Grande. Plus, the lady’s that work here are so sweet.
Really sucks, When you are waiting in the right lane, And somebody in the left lane pulls up and gets to order before you. After you've been waiting fifteen minutes. Really really sucks.
The food is always good and their large selection of drinks, although daunting, are delicious. The service is amazing and everyone is always friendly. The only issue is that it is always busy and you need to expect long wait times in line, sometimes it is so busy you may not even be able to get in line because of its proximity to the road.
Overall a wonderful place to eat if you have the time. As for atmosphere, it's a drive through only so it is what you make it.
You cannot find a better restaurant. The food is high quality delicious and the prices reasonable. My wife and I love the Sunday family meal takeout. It serves four people so we get at least two meals out of it. This is an incredible value!
We were passing through La Grande. Since not many places were open on Saturday evening, we ended up at "Side A Brewing."
It was a very busy time for them, and despite the wait, I wanted to give them 5 stars for their outstanding customer service, th
Apparently this is one of Eastern Oregon's best kept secrets. We camped there over Labor Day weekend and we are camping there again this weekend. There are 10 RV camp sites and several tent sites, there were at least two campsites open the entire wee
What a neat place! What you expect in a bowling alley, but then just a super cool building and design. My young kids had a lot of fun running around and messing with arcade games while the older kids bowled. Stairs to the lanes, and all the way at th
So many great times and wonderful family memories made here. We've been going to the La Grande Drive Inn for at least 22 yrs now. I brought my kids and a countless number of their friends every summer all thru their childhood, and now I've been lucky
Genuine Italian restaurant with a large menu and wine at reasonable prices.
Great service. The meatballs were great as was the fish and chips. My wife's mushrooms were excellent but too many to finish.
Great meal.
Great movie saw indiana Jones 5.. spent al.ost $40 with admission $19.75 and #1 combo 2 large drinks and lg popcorn for $16.75..hate the prices though..I guess considering a pretty good deal for 2 people
Really cool hotel. Obviously still undergoing renovations, but my room (209) was very cute and stylish, with a nice view of the mountains. The water running through the pipes and radiator constantly might bother some, but I found it kind of relaxing.
