Neely Mansion - Historical place in Auburn - 12303 SE Auburn-Black Diamond Rd, USA

I live half a mile from the mansion. It's a smaller one but nice architecture. It has a community garden which is cool, I show my kids how food is grown. The building is nicely kept and grounds around it are also well cared for. It's really a nice neighborhood local attraction for us, visited almost daily. It's awesome in the summer. It's located right next to the green river and the trail, so it's loved by locals. The only thing is that I never saw the building being opened for visitors, so we have to peek through the windows.

Beautiful awesome spot for rocks. I am a Rock hound! This is also one of my salmon habitat restoration sites that I am very proud and pleased with the work my team and I have done here!

We requested a weekday tour since we were visiting from out of state and wanted a few experiences to give us more local history and flavor. Three ladies obliged us with an excellent tour. All three were eager to share their knowledge of and passion for the history of this unique house. We only had a little more than an hour to spend, but we could have easily spent twice that, as all three ladies were happy to answer questions and share stories and there were yard games to entertain the kids. Just a note, allow plenty of lead time to schedule a tour if you're not able to visit on the weekend (their normal hours of operation), since this is a volunteer-run facility and the old-fashioned answering machine and email account don't get checked daily.

What a wonderful house to be in I mean wow the details in everything,just amazing to see even my daughter was just in awe of this place, there's so much to look at you have to take a bunch of pictures and then go back home and zoom in on everything, yes it's that detailed I still miss little things here and there when I go through them for a second or third time just to get a better look at the design on the house. You have to see this place twice to see it all. Merry Christmas Everyone. Thanks again for everything.

Very well kept historic home. Learned some of its history and met some of the past residents. On the same level as Meeker Mansion and hope in a few years as well known and visited. It was built and home to a local Japanese family.

We had a private tour with our Model A Club before our Corn Feed at Game Farm Park. Very interesting local history of family's that lived and worked and raised family's in the area.
