We used to pass by the movie theater and we would get popcorn and nachos and soda and we would sit in our seats and watch the movie and we would be quiet in the theater so that the people won't be disturbrd
Make sure you wear layered clothing. Never know whether it’s too cold or hot inside. Nice good seating, friendly ID checker and concession staff.
2023 update: after a few years, we went to see Gran Turismo on Sun evening, if you're not there on time be prepared with a light source to find seats as it's pitch black in the theater. Movie and sound were great but the seat can definitely hurt your tush sitting for extended period. It was warm and no A/C, definitely got some insect bites. There was also a faint smell of urine after the smell of popcorn fades away... we forgot there was ID check prior to entering, I just showed a copy of DL on my phone. Folks there are always nice! Docking 1 star because of the smell 2017: Thank you Navy for providing this service. Nothing beats free movies and newly released ones too. Floor is not sloped therefore seats are all even and someone tall or just sitting upright in front of you definitely can ruin the experience. Choose your seats wisely (usually in the front or the sides)
It's a great deal for seeing movies if you have base access. The movie theater is comfortable enough and good enough. I removed one star only because they often run out of concessions. This may be due to Covid. Maybe it will change in the future.
All the MWR staff is friendly and they have a nice variety of snacks and drinks to enjoy with your movie experience!
Great on base theater. 100% ID checks when you walk in the door so be ready. Movies are free and the video and sound a great. The seats are comfortable and clean. Good place to watch a movie.
I love going to see the movies but the no cash option sucks. Yes we are in the digital age but sometimes I prefer to use cash. Oh and I still dont see why they closed for about a year for a renovation and nothing changed, at least that I could see.
Thankful that the Navy/MWR offers this service. Great way to see a recent release for 0$ if you are a military member. Snack bar is minimal but good enough for popcorn and a soda.

You can catch crabs on the trestle bridge. The beach is very big and the sand is very fine. The water is clear and the waves are big. Itâs a really nice beach. We bought a local spider crab for $20. Itâs delicious ð
Had been a long time since we have been here. Was a bit surprised with the prices, but everything is expensive these days, was worth the cost. Sandwiches were delicious, fries were so yummy, dipped in fresh ranch dressing.
This gym is open for active duty military, military retirees, DoD civil service and retirees. Some DoD contractors can use it too. It has lifting machines, free weights, cardio equipment, and basketball and racket ball courts.
