Navy Lodge Whidbey Island - Hotel in Oak Harbor - 760 Coral Sea Dr, USA

This place is very nice, nice rooms, love the layout and kitchenette. They have a full closet, bathroom with full size bath soaps in the shower, and couch with coffee table. Great place for a one night stay or a month. Pet friendly! Even have a pet poop bag station out in the grassy area. Outside is super retro but inside is awesome. They have a pretty good breakfast compared to many places I've stayed recently. 24 hour coffee is also very nice. All staff I had dealings with were nice and friendly. I'd definitely stay again. It is a smaller lodge so no pool or anything but that's not really the point of it as it's for long term stays. Also, in the kitchen, pots and pans are in the cupboards for use. Good size fridge for having your own food if you don't want to eat out all the time!

The navy lodge at Oak Harbor is located at what is local known as the ‘Seaplane Base’ in the City of Oak Harbor as opposed to the Naval Air Station which is located a few miles to the north. The lodge is located on a hill in a peninsula that extends south into Oak Harbor, and is just up the hill from the base NEX and Commissary. The lodge is exceptionally clean and well maintained with large rooms and kitchenette’s. I stayed in a room with 2 queen beds that were wonderfully clean and comfortable, each had 4 large pillows. The wireless internet service was good and a password was not required. The rooms included a coffeemaker and full kitchen with microwave and oven, toaster, and pots and pans. Also included were an iron and ironing board, laundry basket for the free laundromat, hair dryer and complimentary bottles of water. There is also a light breakfast included and for the $100/night fee inclusive ( June 2024) I felt that it offers high quality and cleanliness at great value. The only curious thing is that the 2-Storey lodge does not have an elevator, so if you’re mobility limited you should request a room on the first floor.

Beautifully renovated, very comfortable bed, easy-to-navigate TV, very clean, good variety for continental breakfast including bagel and English muffin egg sandwiches, hard-boiled eggs and yogurt along with the usual pastries and juices. Only complaint: We stayed a week and had to ask for room service when TP got low, dish towel needed replacing and garbage needed emptying.

This Navy Lodge is awesome. We stayed here Christmas and New Year's 2023. Sorry, this review is so long. We stayed in several places during our vacation, on our way from California to Washington, and this was by far the best place that we stayed. The staff is awesome. They were very kind to us. We had some stressful times while we were in Oak Harbor, and most of the staff were very helpful, especially Michelle and Debbie. They were able to give us some resources that we needed, which really helped make the 2 weeks stay a nice time. We would definitely stay here again for business or pleasure. The room was large, and the beds were very comfortable. They are handicapped friendly and we had a large handicapped room on the first floor. The rooms were always very clean. Me-Me was part of the cleaning staff, and they did an awesome job keeping the room clean. They are pet friendly. We had 2 small dogs when we arrived. There was a broom that we could help keep the room tidy during the holidays when the staff got to spend time with their own family. There were also 2 nice dog walking areas complete with potty bags. The kitchenette was adequately supplied with dishes, pots, and pans, dishwashing soap and towels. The kitchenette also had an apartment size refrigerator, which really helped us keep our expenses to a minimum so we could cook in the room. The commissary and exchange are just down the road, which made it very convenient to do any shopping we needed. There was coffee and creamer, etc, available in the lobby 24 hours a day. The breakfast every morning was always very filling. They have a nice laundry room that was also very clean. It was nice to be able to do our laundry in a clean facility. 😀 If you are looking for a place to stay while in the Oak Harbor area, this is definitely the place to stay. It also helped with the cost of the room being half what it was in the local area. Thank you, Navy Lodge, from the Darby family.

This review is written by a family friend of some of our favorite people who stayed at the Naval Lodge last week. The hospitality, concern, graciousness, time and love that Michelle, Debbie, and Tina gave in an hour of need will never be forgotten and was a bright spot during a time of stress. Wonderful people and wonderful hotel! We stayed early June. Great weather so hvac wasn't needed. Rooms were clean and ready to go. Thanks Navy!

Great service, and friendly staff. They treated us and our dog like VIP guests. 😁 The only complaint we had were the beds were a little uncomfortable, and the kitchenware was hard to clean. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECCOMMEND THIS HOTEL

We stayed here Labor Day weekend and had a great time! The room was clean and big, queen bed with couch and kitchen that included utensils/plates/cups. The location itself gives you beautiful views on the way in and out. It’s close enough to walk to the commissary or NEX if you want to. The laundry does require quarters, but it’s not much and they even provided detergent if you forget to bring some. There is no elevator but only 2 stories, there’s a vending & ice machine in both floors. It was quiet and smelled nice too. Very happy with our stay and hope to return in the future!
