Unprobated homes on the outskirts of Ridgecrest are where all of the muck of the community gets swept under the rug. Flushing it down to Bakersfield is not going to solve anything. So here's your mess. You clean it up, or I will, with bombs of necessary. Thank you.

You know what they think of Ridgecrest and the people when the person in charge of the Base does NOT light the Christmas Star in the East at Christmas Time. NOTE: I have been here all my life and you can judge the person in charge by there actions of how they feel about you and me.

Wonderful walking trails, access to horses, and a solid facility overall. Definitely worse places to get stationed.

We lived here back in the early ‘90’s and loved it. The swamp coolers needed a little help in August. 112* in the shade. But our kids enjoyed shooting rockets in the dry lake bed and riding our horse at the base stables. I even rode to the top of “B” mountain. Good 3 years.

I have been awakened two weeks this month by flyovers at 0230 and 0300 Why are there flyovers at such odd hours. I thought the flying was supposed to stop @ 2200. Both of these sounded like they were directly over my residence in SE Ridgecrest. I have been unable to return to sleep on both occasions. Why?

I was promised a lot of wildlife exposure from rattlesnakes to the infamous desert tortoise. During my three day stay on various hillsides and OPs, I never saw a single animal, just tons of flies. 0/10, would not recommend.

Me and my family live here, But my dad works here in Naval air weapons China Lake, and my Dad has to work for 4 years and we also have to live here for 4-5 years, idk if it was amazing or not but ok.

Fun place to work, real lack of restrooms/portapotties for workers though
