Hands down the best diner on LI.
I've been going here for decades and the staff always treat you like family.
There's a big multi-page laminated spiral bound menu with so many choices.
It's the perfect place to go for breakfast, lunch or dinner either by yourself or with a group.
My go to is the Deluxe Waffle (hot, golden, crisp yet fluffy waffle with two eggs and your choice of bacon, ham or sausage).
Great appetizers, soups, burgers and sandwiches to name a few highlights as well as specials that change regularly.
They're always eager to make sure you have a good meal and check about food issues.
It's always lively and buzzing,
there's a full bar with tv's if you want to grab a drink and have a bite while watching a game.
The food is always good and the servers are so friendly and all the staff are attentive.
Definitely more than your everyday diner, more like a visiting with family at a restaurant - most days Stella or Peter will greet you with a big smile and escort you to your table.
If you want to have a really good diner experience, Nautilus in Massapequa is the best spot.
My wife and I came here for brunch because we were in the area. It was a nice quiet Sunday morning, I'll waiter's name was Billy and he did a fantastic job. Billy was very attentive and returned to the table periodically to check on us. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time, hot and well-served. There are many options on the menu. On our way out we stopped and spoke to the owner of the diner and he thanked us so much for letting him know how well Billy did. We enjoyed our experience so well. We will definitely return the next time we are in the area.
The dinner was delicious, I'm definitely adding this to my list! I will go back and try breakfast and brunch.
I love coming here the food is always fresh and the presentation on point for a diner. The staffs uniforms are superb makes you feel like you're in a fancy restaurant. I had the soft shell crab franchise 😋 so good. I highly recommend it and they have a full bar 🍸for those that want a cocktail with dinner.

My husband and I were in town and decided to go to the Nautilis Diner. We were greeted by a young man named Bill who was our waiter. I have to say that he was the most polite, courteous and attentive person. We truly enjoyed speaking with him and having him as our waiter. Bill is truly a hard worker and a tremendous asset to the Nautilis.

The Diner industry is encountering tough times. With the fast food stores increasing, there are now gas stations that are adding to the competition.
When it comes to quality food delivered with little time delay and offering a huge selection, nothing can beat the Diner.
It's good for all of us to take a time-out from the express lane of life to savor food and relax a little.
I ordered through Uber eats I order the hot open face turkey sandwich. I also paid for a priority delivery. So upon receipt the turkey and gravy were cold. I had to microwave to heat it up. Also I ordered peas as my side and received mixed veggie. I also ordered and paid for extra poultry gravy and never received it. This diner used to be a go to for me. But unfortunately I will never order from this diner again. I spent 32 dollars on a dinner that I wouldn’t feed to my dog. Super disappointed
One of our go-to places to eat. The food is only eclipsed by the excellent staff and friendly people you'll find here. Try the egg cream, its to die for!
Red Chop sticks in my new favorite Chinese takeout! The egg-rolls and wantons were unique in that the dough tasted of egg. Like they were freshly made.
