Natural Bridge State Natural Area - Nature preserve in Sewanee - 591 Natural Bridge Rd, USA

Easy to get to. Great photo ops. Not much more of a trail if you're looking for that. Remaining trail was grown up. This place is beautiful

Easy to get to once you get there. The parking lot is just a few feet from the Natural Bridge; however, the short hike down is a little dicey for those who are not sure footed. Great for kids.

This is a neat little park near the University of the South. Interpretive sign at the parking area. Very short hike to get to it. Not much to do except look around and take pictures, but you can get some pretty cool pics. If you are in the area, it would be a nice place to stop for an hour or so.

This is a great little park. I came here last year but I did not hike down to the bridge because I was pressed for time. This time I planned to have enough time. Well, the hike was about two minutes long. It is just barely off of the parking area. But it is beautiful. It is worth an hour hike or more. It is really accessible. You can easily reach all of the interesting parts. I was the only person there and it was pristinely quiet.

Very beautiful place to be. It's well kept and respected and the air just felt super clean.

Natural Bridge State Nature Area is one of a Natural wonders. For a small fee you can walk the mile long trail to see the some of the majesty of natural rock formations. Indian Face or Indian Head are just a few. Wear the appropriate shoes for hiking, bring a camera and be respectful. I believe it is privately owned. Stop into the gift shop, have a cold beverage and tell them that Terrance Ray of Sunshine sent you.
